BROKEN CAMPAIGN QUEST:GM HELP

Level 5: Where's Rae. Fiance and myself are getting back into some super classic wow and we are absolutely LOVING this server. We made it to Lvl9 and went to ascend so fast it was crazy. Upon coming back to Ishalgen, we were just going through and completing all the campaign and side quests when we got stuck. On Where's Rae, were suppose to talk to Virdani <Hermit>, and go from there. Possibly get the candy at this time i dont remember but, its not letting us talk to her. She spouts some nonsense about how We've decided to actually become Deava afterall and yet we have come back to mingle with the Raiders. Wont let us progress. Did we break this by ascending and THEN returning? PLEASE HELP!!!! </3

 

It seems i was able to get by this when she got offline. It seems that being a party blocks the quest from advancing, more than likely due to the fact that you have to view a vision.... WHICH when i went into the vision, the next guy wouldnt interact with me, even after his speech deal. so i thought maybe jumping over the ledge would activate it or respawn me for it to work. NOPE i died, got sent back to addelle village, and now im stuck @Experience the witches fortune telling. Wont let me talk to her, nor can i figure out how to get back to the vision. Tried logging, switch chars, waiting the 10 mins for the instance to reset, nothings worked yet.

 

Ended up creating a new toon anyway bc we needed a healer for my groups tank, and got past all the quests that i was stuck on with that toon, so i deleted the toon and made another of the same class. all good. yeah i dont know why it would let me talk with the Daeva at the top of the rise inside the fortune tellers vision at the time. when i fell off the ledge it kicked me out of the 'instanced vision' and then proceeded to lock it. i tried back tacking a bit like, 'getting the mushroom', then coming back to talk with Verdani, had moved on to other quests because i didnt want to drag her down at the time. Unfortuately, when she got back on a few days later to see if she could complete the quest, she was on alone, no party, and it still wouldnt let her even talk to verdani so idk. maybe we broke it by even starting together in a party in the first place, either way, we moved on.
