Silver / Gold / Platinum Medals

I asked Carl if those could be obtained by donations and he said there is no donation for medals, so how is it that people get enough medals to buy lvl 50 abyss sets and in some cases even lvl 55 items(need platinum medals) when i have never seen or heard anything about events giving out that many medals to afford these items...

As far as i know monsters do not drop them either so how is it that players are able to obtain so many of them?

The only medals I have always seen being given out through events are silver ones...

So please fill me in...

 

gold/silver medals are given in events.

but some players tend to abuse some glitches and dupe the medals for their own profit.

i have play for very long time now, and i never heard a event to give out Gold medals or platnium medals =.="

 

I have been playing for over 4 months or so and i've never seen a gold medal event( and i have plaid constantly through the days, different times n so on)

1 lvl 50 item costs up to 62 gold coins or so depending on the item, and there are probably millions of medals spent + the ones currently circling so that means that from "1 event done so long ago" players started to dupe "those" medals?

I have seen quite some Gold Medals event in the times I've been here, I started playing 2 weeks after launch.

There also was a muffler system, which were pretty OP and had big quantities of events to them, and people would be able to trade 150 mufflers for an Abyss set of their choice.

And, of course. Donating for the item you want, or what some people do - Voting with multiple accounts. In other words, cheating the system.

Never seen a Platinum Event either, but those(level 55 Abyss sets) were just mass donated for. And some mass duped. lol

 

Muffler stuff is long gone, and as others said, there hasnt been any gold medals events, and dont think ppl cant vote with multiple accs since its IPed + voting has nothing to do with it since u cant buy medals with credits

 

Platinum medals aren't in the game but those other lvl 55 green stuff are in the main cities for both races for just AP. Though, the GOLD one's which require medals are platinum and cannot be obtained as of yet.

Also, I do remember an event back in like mid July where a GM gave 1 gold medal to the winner and 1 silver to the 2nd and 3rd... this was a tournament I think.

I never said those systems are still active. Keyword: WAS

Also, because it isn't active anymore, doesn't mean some people didn't enjoy the system.

And, Exposed. There are many ways to vote with multiple accounts... Though, I'll leave that to this: For me to know, and you to find out. Here's a hint: One of our GMs abused this in the past.

Also, I never said people buy medals, they buy their piece of abyss equipment, review the 'Add Items' section in the main site.
