Hello! This is my hello to the server thread as well as a get my questions out of the way thread. I did do a little browsing which did in fact answer a few of my questions. So this is just the remaining questions I didn't find answers to. (I admit, I did give up fairly quickly) :)

As I read, lumiel is new, and therefor a much smaller population. In regards to Siel, I am now informed it has a higher population, but how high exactly? Are we talking 100 people, 500, 1000? Is i difficult to find a group, pvp, etc... My intention was to join this server for a week or two to get re accustomed to Aion (I played in Beta and for a few weeks after release and then stopped) then procede to play on the official servers. BUT, after doing some reading, this server(s) seems very well established. The 200x exp is definitely a draw as I despise leveling in MMOs o_O (hard to imagine eh? =P). Kinda forgot where I was going with this.......

    (Insert 20 minute pause)

Ah! In your guys' opinions, what are the pros and cons of this server(s) over official? And would being a new player on Siel be like climbing a 1 mile hill with a huge boulder? (Nearly impossible to catch up to everyone). Also curious, in general, is the population fairly friendly? Comming back to Aion after a while, with the initial playing being as short as it was, I will be a little behind the curve.

Anyone that got this far and is actually planning to post a reply, I love you... Not in a creepy online stalkerish way, just a happy - you are an awesome person kind of way. :)

Thanks for any and all replies!!

The best thing here that the population is 2000+ If you want you will not wait much for any action. And its not that hard for new players for 3-4 weeks you can get good equipe (maybe less if you play 24/7). Friendly... not at all 2k+ ppl kinda impossible .

Well, Siel is indeed very populated, which has both pros and cons.
You can find pvp at almost any given time, if you're into DP, finding a group for it isn't too hard either.
The downside is the huge lag we sometimes get due to overpopulation of the server.

Leveling a toon doesn't take that long tho, so you can always reroll on Lumiel, gear however is another story :p (from what i've heard, you can't transfer it, Siel > Lumiel, or the other way around.

Like the previous poster said, getting geared up should take 3-4 weeks. (Unless you got some nice friends heh)

    EDIT: Almost forgot, welcome! :)

    Thanks :).

I forgot that I had to take server lag into consideration since it's a private server. Roughly, how bad does it get and how often? I guess if it was toooo often, there wouldn't be a 2000+ population =P

    Well thats good :).

What is the balance like in PvP? Like.. Are there a lot more Asmos than Elyos'? I know on official in the early stages that there were like 3x as many Asmos. Similar to WoW private servers, Horde generally has many more players than Alliance.

And I did notice a guide for getting to 50 on Asmo, and something similar for Elyos. But nothing about 50-55. Is there some sort of full proof method everyone uses that isn't posted?

    Thanks again :)
