About the Banning System..

Can we ask about the Banning System?..

Hope GM will answer this post.

If our IP got banned..
is it forever ban?.
why Ban the IP?.
why not the character?.

yes.. i am aware of the massive cheaters in this server.. but we have a good GM working there asses to solve it..
but IP ban?.
it is unfair for other players who work there asses to get there gears.. and voted for how many months just to get the ABG sets items..

because mostly players in phil play in Internet Cafe, because of the reason that..
they have alot of friends in there..
or it is the only way they can play AION.

What would be nice is if the shops would stop letting their customers hack...

 

I would ask the internet cafe owner to use a proper software, so his customers cannot download random things. I was working in internet cafe, so i know, that it exhist. This way he will secure his network as well, and will not lose his customers.

Is there a way that the IP ban will be lifted? How about if we kick that player out from the cafe because we really did... He's ban and no players will be allowed to do it again... How about it?

that's what my friend is doing now.... could he get his IP back?
he or we won't let anyone hack and the hacker/duper/bug exploiter was already banned from the cafe as well...

Wouldnt happen as alot of the shop owners do a little of their own hacking too.

Sir GM, I would like to assure that definitely we discourage our customer from doing things that are against your rules,
but we cannot guarantee that they will always follow. There is no way that we could monitor our customers 24/7 what they will do in the game.
My main query is, it is justifiable for you to ban the IP thereby preventing other players to play just because of one irresponsible person.
Is this IP ban permanent?
Please just answer our questions so we could move on.

I will just quote myself. If you do that, i doubt that you'll have any problems. And thx to it, you will not need to monitor your costumers.

Securing your network, preventing downloads and installation of hacking software is one thing but you will still get banned if you don"t play by the rules of the games.
Please let me know if there is software that will prevent players from doing inappropriate things during game play so that they will not be banned!!!!!!!
My point here is there is no way for us to monitor the players behavior and activities all the time. If a player commits an offense ban him but WHY INCLUDE THE IP?

 

its not that the owner / co-players have all the time to look into other people we have our own buisnesses in game and in real life so why do you say that tell people in your shop not to hack? is that even possible? cause as far as i know if some1 knows how to hack they would "HACK SMART" and wont let any1 see them hacking unfortuntely for those who are caught they should just get account ban not IP ban cause not all players in a certain shop are hacking... this is just my opinion lewls -.-

 

I am currently working on some tweaks to the ban system that will effect net cafes in particular.

We will have more information to provide within 24-48 hours at most.
