Auto announcement

Carl should put an Auto Announcement stating that beluslan and heiron is a strictly a no free fly zone. And anyone caught will be jailed and abusers will be banned?

they fly coz they can! even w/ a rule.
if the devs can fix that thing then we have no PROBLEM at all.

 

We are currently working on ways to make flight pvp in these zones something that people will not want to do. We will not be banning players on a first offense. We will not be jailing people for a day or a week at a time because the timer only goes down while you are logged in.

We are willing to hear any ideas that does not involve developer work. Internally, we have already discussed AP resets and a kinah tax as possible additional punishments.

if player kill another player when flying instead of gaining AP should lose AP

 

not all new players are follow the rules even the old ones... they can fly from heiron town to the other part of the map....

 

AP resets and kinah tax doesn't really solve a lot, if anything. People that get killed by free-fly abusers normally will lose a lot more AP than the ones that abuse the free-fly. Also, AP is easier to obtain especially with premium... and diety doesn't work.

Kinah tax is pretty unfair if say a new player flies out of Heiron and gets caught. He would end up getting punished by a tax? That would make things equally worst for him

A good solution would be:
1) To change the announcements to periodically say "DO NOT FLY IN BELUSIAN OR HEIRON OR YOU WILL GET JAILED"
2) Fix the problem
3) Continue to patrol and jail free-fly abusers
4) Turn it off altogether

 

A kinah tax is fair and has been approved. We are looking at a 25-30% kinah fine at the moment. We are still discussing what system we should be using for logging abusers. Specifics will be released later.

 

So there's going to be a kinah tax, but there is not gonna be any jail time anymore *as a punishment?
