The Three Kurin Brothers

Nimble Aramis doesn't register as a kill for me, the other 2 kurin brothers do register as kills.

 

Use normal attack, try to spam attacks, u will be hable to kill it.

 

It's killable, though it doesn't count for quest when you kill him. Did it on several chars while leveling without success.

 

Well thanks for making note of it. Hopefully it gets fixed soon.

i have the Quest's title on my glad.. i completed it with no problems..

I've noticed that I had the same problem before with that quest and Killing For Castor. Oddly enough, killing one then relogging seems to make kills show up on the counter again. Try that and tell meh how it works out!

 

Well i killed Nimble Aramis twice, once using EmoBiscuit's way and the other just using normal arrow attacks neither kills registered on the quest description objectives.

 

used to work.... i have the title on my ranger but when i trained a new char to do the quest, nimble aramis doesn't get registered.

 

This quest is bugged due to an error in AL source in npc_templates.xml:
It says:

Same happens with a quest in Theobomos involving a mob called Titirunerk the Two Faced: tribe="NOFIGHT" = quest bug, tribe="AGGRESSIVESINGLEMONSTER" = quest able to do.

Changes can be done by just changing those lines and restarting gameserver.

 

2 days ago i wrote here a solution for 2 quests, an easy solution only changing some code server side... now im wondering if any dev or gm read this forum ever, well i know gms read forums cos they close threads and ban ppl but, are devs even reading which quests are bugged or something?

 

Yeah, I have the title on my sorc, so it used to work... And Carl/Nastus, please try the solution above, it'll probably work.

They disabled getting titles from normal quests.

You can still get titles by completing some campaign quests.

 

I'm only trying to solve some problems with 2 quests thats all, i dont care about titles or not, im only saying here that with a simple thing 2 quests less to solve, but im only seeing that the last update for this server (Crystal) was 07/09/2010, maybe im wrong but this server is being letting die.

 

Fixed Three Kurin Brothers with patch 28/9/2010, still missing Titirunerk the Two Faced but YAY !! :tongue::tongue::tongue:

 

This quest is currently working and does give title.
