Gold Medal Deletion: Project Goldmember

Getting medals through gm events arent the only legit way of getting them though.

 

Are gold medals going to be introduced back into the game? If so, this is my suggestion. I think you should make gold medals a quest item, such as making them equivalent to mufflers, since 1. They can't be traded, and 2. They can't be stored. It'll be like an exchange system with them for EGT/EAT items and this would solve largely the duping that has been going on lately.

 

but its very hard to get the golden madels now =\

and i need 21 Golden madels for the Abyss bow =[[[

any GM can help me with this ? i will pay him ...

 

This would hinder the problem although wouldn't people just farm some more AP and then just trade the gear around instead of the medals?

As far as Lumiel and medals are concerned, the answer is a resounding "No."

Why? Because as of right now the only 2 consistently active GMs on Lumiel are myself and Adieu and we have ZERO intention to hand out medals of any kind until we are 100% sure duping has been fixed. Even then, at that point, we'd still rather not give out medals.

Dont get me wrong as i am 100% anti-dupe, but why is every problem solved with wipes? Dont blame the medals, blame the dupers... dupers just pick another item and continue their "business" (like the items that had to be bought with gold medals?). Whats next then, wipe every item?

If a script can wipe duped items why cant this knowledge be used in another way (example: scanning a player and wh when player accesses it?)
