Hello first time i play Aion so i have a lot of questions!

Hello all, its first time i play Aion game ever, so i have lots of questions!

Let me tell a bit of what i have picked till now!
I am a male mage atm level 9.

Do i need to do quests so i can get skills and stuff? or am i able to do it the same speed with just killing monsters?

i will add more questions to this topic, so i dont need to open a new topic every time i wounder something new and easy! sorry if what im asking for is answerd, but i dont understand all the shortnames here, and even when i see the explonations, i really have no clue anyway

- what should i foucse on doing till i level up high enough?
- where are people able to pk me? i want to stay away from those places till i at least understand the game a bit!
- how can i move faster then walking?

- I am doing a quest now named, Thinking Again! where i have to get 4 Spriggrain Sacks...

Is there any post on the forum with quest guides? or is this the type os privat server that dont need quests done!

When you get lvl 55 you walking speed is gona go up like 8.0

i have notice a problem with my character now, sometimes i cant attack and i have to relog then it works again!

Thats a bug within the game.. Try avoiding those mobs if you can... I get it too when i play on my characters.

 

Right now the only quest you hould worry about is the Ascension quest, this will allow you to lvl further than 9. For leveling, killing mobs is better than questing, because of its high rates.
In Aion there is no PK system, but there is a conflict between the 2 factions, which are in war, Asmodians and Elyos. To the other faction get to your world, they must use a rift which are available at:
- Elyos side: Elten, Heiron
- Asmodian side: Morheim, Beluslan

I recommend you stay away from those cities until you are strong enough to defend yourself.

In the Retail Aion, free fly (fly everywere) is disabled but this being a private server, well is enabled. But I do warn you, because people wanted ground pvp they disabled the free fly in Heiron and Beluslan, but there is a bug that allows you to fly. Using this bug will put you in jail, and also you will have a -30% kinah as a punishment

To swith between walking and running use the comma(,) button. Another useful hotkey is period(.) it allows you to sit and rest.

Bellalicous ok good to know im not alone but how can i avoid those monsters? if i kill a monster and it respawns and i kill it again the glitch happens! so i should just not kill the same monster twice i guess

the wings drops from special monsters? or i need higher level for wings!

 

Yes, you cannot fly in Heiron or Beluslan. And wings you can get them from Pandamonium (asmo) or Sanctum(elyos) you can get them with kinah.

PS: DP is an Instance so you need a group to enter and be lvl50 (lvl cap is 55). Also in there you can get all your standard gears.
