    had the same thing. yesterday i leveled to 55 equipped al gear.
    Logged in this morning finding out that i was lvl 54 xD

    my friend came back to gamez after 2 months of innactivity and his lvl 55 templar was lvl 47 xD and the other 55 char was lvl 17..

    Happened in a few members in the legion that use their char daily. Well 10 min lvling will fix the problem.
