It's still very very laggy, seems you guys need a much stronger connection, i doubt it's your hardware. I'm in game with 3 friends right now, and it's been lagging steadily for the past 4 hours+ it does this EVERY morning, it's 110% guaranteed sadly. Lol I don't mean to bad mouth the server, i just mean to deliver the truth to yuh. Thanks for the cool server

Still too much lag randomly. Like 10/15 secs....

I dont know what all of you are QQing about. Yes there is SOME lag still but its nothing like it was. SOME lag is expect on any private server unless your player population is like 5.


More Players = More Donations = Better Servers = Less Lag

 

Server still lags, and badly. While we run DP sometimes we'll get a spike and out entire PT dies but me (Im the healer) and dont attack anything. But yea, server is deff NOT LAG FREE. Instead it has like 15-30 second lag spikes, and pretty often it seems....

Goodjob, i myself am a java / c++ programmer, so please look at my thread in the suggestions section to see my idea's on fixing this

 

yup today a lot of lag on the server, yesterday less, but today a lot.
hope staff will find a way to reduce it soon.

I ran 2 private servers with population similar to this Server on multiple games, i just simply used the donations to pay a $50 a month bill for a company to host my server for me, it was rated to hold 15000+ connections at any given time with 100% guaranteed no lag/downtime or your bill gets cut in half. Hosting a server is very very cheap, and you can just remotely connect to it any time you wish. Through that company it was less lag and more uptime than retail servers, LoL. Just hinting some options here, heh.

 

what i was hinting at was this is not a professional server like an official retail server so these types of things should be expected. Hell I remeber back on the rf online ps i use to play there were periods of time when the server crashed for days on end.

I agree it is expected, hence why i put it in the hands of a professional server company to bring professionalism to a community backed by a 100% guarantee. All i'm saying is, $50 a month is alot cheaper than buying 20 gigs of ram, the money it costs for that alone, you can run it for half a year or more.

 

I agree with the above post, If the server was handled that way it might help with lag.

 

That can't be the case.. cause when I was doing DP this morning, i was stuttering like crazy. and none of my group members could have used any skills
