Any news on the EGT?

i got a full abg set for 8k credits though :x its not really that hard to find deperate sellers either their quitting or theyd transfer to lumiel :x

 

mine is from legit trade.i did restart,even close my client and EGT didn't dissappear.i even have fraps

 

just dont wipe eat and egt set...just wipe gold and silver medal... or wipe the duper

I really don't even have EGT / EAT Sets.. But I'm just saying that it's totally unfair to remove EGT Sets Just bcoz some idiots wanted to dupe things.. If ur concerning about the duping problem.. then Remove EVERY SINGLE ITEM in the server. since ppl dupes EVERYTHING (From gold medals , (which have already been removed), to Godstones, Sets, etc.)

There is no point in wiping all those sets..

I really do agree with all the GM's measures taken so far.. but this one.. is just absolutely useless..

THIS IS MY SITUATION:

I voted for 2k legitly, I traded someone their EGT set for my 2k credits. They probably sold me a DUPED EGT set for my LEGIT ABG leather part.

A few days ago, I traded another 2k credits that I got from VOTING and DONATING for a DUPED EAT set, one that disappeared after relogging. I had screenshots and proof but nothing was done to get my items back. [http://forum.gameznetwork.com/showthread.php?t=27465]

In the end this is what happened: In two instances I received duped items for my legit items. The dupers keep their ABG while I--the person who has been voting and donating--loses my items due to NO GM RESPONSE and SERVER WIPES. After these wipes those same dupers that sold us the DUPED EGT sets will be wearing our LEGIT ABG gear and PWNING us with them. fun.

No. Even if it was 1mil kinah. It's the ideology behind the situation that bothers me. In a sense I've been stolen from, and there is no retribution for those who committed the crime.

I propose a solution, although I'm sure I'm going to get much flame for it: remove ALL items. EGT, EAT, ABG, ANUHART, WHATEVER. Restore the items we bought in our credit history as those items are 100% legit.

If you're so scared of dupes and illegal activity then this is the best method of a purge.

IF I GET MY SHIT TAKEN AWAY, THE DUPERS BETTER GET THEIR SHIT TAKEN AWAY TOO.

Pvp defense from a set gives you about 10% more hp. Which is nothing when everyone who isn't a sin hits 3-8k per hit these days.

 

I'd rather wear Lv 1 armor than some shitty anuhart gear.

Compared to my glad with Anuhart on VS. another glad with Full ABG, I died in 3-4 hits with their crush combo. Couldn't even heal. As with EAT/EGT, I managed to survive that and make a comeback.

well the 10 manastone slots definitely worth it though.it's like having 2 and half more Anuhart parts when you have EAT

 

If +10% HP is nothing, as a Chanter I'm gonna stop buffing all the people who cry for buffs everytime.

There *are* some classes where pvp armor isn't needed, see easy mode nublet classes like Sorcs/Rangers/Glads.

For those who actually take hits before they have the time to kill people, it's very much needed (temps/clerics/chanters).

I'd just like you guys to keep in mind the reasons why we play gamez aion:

- the community sucks hard, I've never seen one as bad : you can't trust anyone or you'd get cheated / scammed and hacking is rampant. Half the people don't understand english, are immature and keep bothering you for kinah. The other half doesn't understand how the game works and just smashes buttons, thinks they are good due to OP gear.

- to be honest it's full of bugs and non working features, pvp is messed up with huge disbalances. You can't pot out conditions, a ton of skills are messed up.

- roleplayers duel in their respective race HQs and act like this game is a dating site.

but...

+ high rates/voting/donating means we don't have to work to get gear and therefore we can go rift/play in the abyss.

+ the GMs actually try to do something.

Sorry to say, but if you start removing items left and right, however justified you feel you are, the only positive aspect of gamez is out of the door, and I'm out of here. And I don't think I'll be alone.

 

Yea sure Glad dont take dmg when it attacks... Chanter has stun and stumble skills omfg. Glad atm has 3 stumble skills.... But one thing is for sure the fair players like me and my bro will be pissed off :devil:.
