2.0.0.3 denied

well i tried to update......

And it said error....so i clicked repair....and so when it finally reached 100% on the patch .......... well, it told me the path was denied............

I would very much like some one to tell me what the heck just happened....?

I got the same error, I just tried to update again and it worked.

P.S. it took about 5 minutes to update second time around.

Yeah, same thing happened here... Just keep trying until it works. When I first downloaded Aion, it took like 6 tries to install it...

 

do i need to redownload aion client?

Okay, here's what's up.


So, I'm updating it, and it says "Cannot create file that already exsists"

So then i click repair

It updates to 100%, starts repairing, and then ERROR............this has happened more than 20 time already!

>:C says i have the files in my Aion folder.....so i assume it's correct......

And then i start the game, everything work perfectly.....

But when i press start after i choose my character, it freezes, and then shutsdown......


EXPLAINATIONS!!!!! PLEASEEEE! A GM HELP MEEEE ;A; IT'S BS IF I HAVE TO REDOWNLOAD IT! it's gunna take me atleast 8-10 hours maaaaaan :'C

oh dear god, just tell me something's wrong with the crystal server......just say it's retarded xD EAAAAAAAASE MY INTERNAL AGONY xD lolz

I had the same problem. Make sure you run it as administrator if your on vista or windows 7. after i did that, the update worked.

I did run as admin and a window poped up saying

NC Launcher:

Acsess Denied.

So i clicked OKAY and then it started updtating....

But before this, i went into my folder and it said i had the files already, so i decided id delete them all......

So i deleted everything from

1.9.0.2To2.0.0.0.ncpatch

To

2.0.0.3Reapirpatch.

All of it...and now m trying to update it again, and it's just staying on 0%.....

What the flipping hell is wrong....

Someone please give me instructions on how to fix this. Please.

Is that the error message you always get? Have you tried repairing with firewall down?
-check to see if you have a copy in your downloads folder, or temp files maybe.

Also, maybe you can download the 2.0 client without having to use ncsoft's launcher maybe? I'm sure gamershell would have it. Although that would take another 3 hours to download again.

Lol i apreciate the help xD i deleted everything, and yeah that was the message i would always get... xD but i got up and walked down to teh garage where i get the best connection.....and so.....it's updating my 1.9.0.2 again xD i deleted EVERYTHING in there....so im hoping the repair will fix it xD

No, Crystal just got updated to 2.0. Gamez will updating on Thursday October 14. Here is announcment.

It's keeps saying "Cannot create fille when that file already exsists =_=; Im getting kind of....excuse my french-but im ****in pissed off!......

I have windows Vista and even if i run as admin, imeadiatley "NC Soft Error" pops up

"Acsses Denied "





My spelling fails.......

BUT!.....I keep trying to update and sometimes it gets to 54% or 12% between there, and Error......





Am i gunna have to redownload it.....

If so.....what's to say that it wont do this again/ because ive deleted everything in the aiuon folder that was 2.0 related.....and it still says the damn file exsists.....where else could the file exsist?

 

turn UAC (User Account Control) off and update client, if you still experience issues - it might be nice idea to move Aion folder out of "program files" folder (better out of system disk) as Vista likes to protect files inside it.

 

I have never run Aion with Vista so I'm not familiar at all with any errors associated with it.
Hopefully someone who knows the answer to your question can help.

Can someone tell me how to turn it off? The UAC?......

And how would i move the NCSoft folder (wich contains both my Aion folder and my Launcher folder) out?

Btw aparently the 1/3 thing is already installed because my comp is trying to instal the 1/2.....and this is the one im having issues with....

The other files ARE present in the Aion folder....

 

IIRC: start > control panel > user accounts > turn UAC on/off
u'll need to restart your PC after that

 

To disable UAC search UAC in start menu, click on "Change User Account Control settings" and drag the little bar to where it says "never notify" then click ok and it'll ask you to restart. And to copy Aion somewhere else, just select the Aion directory and type Ctrl+C then go to the directory you want to move Aion to and click Ctrl+V. If everything works, you can delete the first Aion directory.
