Regarding 2.0 - Character

Ok so we all know that next thursday Gamez will go 2.0 (Yay!) and because of this, I'd like to ask a simple question.

Before I state the question, let me tell you a little story. I've played on other servers that support 2.0, just want to know what 2.0 is like. And after I played for some time, I found out that in one account you can't have different race characters. Example, if you make an Elyos as the first character, you'll be noticed, "Once you make a character with this race, you won't be able to create another with different race. Proceed?" or something like that. Oh and that's prompted when you are on the race choice.

So I want to ask, if Gamez already at 2.0, how about the accounts that contain characters with different race? Will it cause an error? Or it's just okay to leave it like that?

P.S.: I've never played on crystal before. Maybe people that play crystal can tell whether this "No different race" rule also applied at crystal?

 

It'd probably work just fine, as it has the same protections on 1.5/1.9. It's just a setting server-side configuration really.

Im sure that can be edited in the code like they edit xp and such, in retail aion you couldnt have an elyos and asmos on same account pre 1.9 right?

I think you will be fine having asmos and elyos on same account.

 

the "no other race thingy" or what ever is an srv option which the pwner of the srv decides to put it or not, and i dont think carl will add this

 

I see, that's relieving. I thought that once Gamez has been 2.0 the rule will be automatically applied just like other servers that have already at 2.0. Well this is also because I've never played on retail before (Don't have the money T_T) so I don't know what it's like.
