problems playing 2.0

is 2.0.0.3 patch "assault of balaurea"?ive been able to update my client using the ncsoft launcher and the screen comes up after clicking on "start game" on the crystal launcher,assaulf of balaurea comes up and then the ncsoft logo comes up and eventually it crashes.need help!i really want to play 2.0 aion.

 

Dont start the game using nclauncher, use the crystal aion launcher to run the game after you have updated.

sorry.i just needed a quick response.i did clicked on the crystal launcher and the same thing happens.i didnt even reached the login screen.

 

make sure you dont have any modified item pak, use the original 2.0 item pak or you game wont start.

also whats the error message you get on crash?

 

delete your items.pak, repair using ncsoft launcher, install crystal patch and try again

 

Try to repair the game perhaps and make sure you arent using the 1.9 items.pak. Lastly, try reinstall of Crystal Launcher.

Your game is or is not downloaded with 2.0?

 

update manually. if you repair, it should update automatically

 

Delete item.pak file located C:\Program Files\NCsoft\Aion\Data\items or C:\Program Files\NCsoft\AionPTS\Data\items

Open NCsoft Launcher located C:\Program Files\NCsoft\Launcher

Right click on Aion and click repair

Let NCsoft Launcher do its job

When it finishes and say you can play the game close everything out.

Re-install Crystal Aion Launcher

Run Crystal Aion Launcher to start the game.

Post here after you completed all steps above if you still have problems.

 

its updated it says.my ncsoft launcher says "ready to play".when i do repair.it comes up with an error on CryPhysics.dll.

it says:
Error Code: 58 (FileGroupApplicationErrorRollbackNotAttempted):

Errors occurred while applying the patch,

and a rollback was not attempted.

The product is likely in an inconsistent state and should be repaired or reinstalled.

The patch application errors are as follows:

File could not be repaired: C:\Program Files\NCsoft\Aion\bin32\CryPhysics.dll.

 

Delete the folders

L10N
bin32

then repeat what i stated above

I know it may be frustrating but somewhere along the line you got a corrupt file or files, you may even have to completely trash all aion files and start over from scratch.

FYI, i also got an error last night after i updated but my error was patching the client, had do a repair and redownload 1.3gigs of crap again but is finally working now.

 

i did what you said.now,when i launch crystal aion,it says its not available in my country.i checked on ncsoft launcher and region is NA.i installed directx as well.

FYI.it also states on ncsoft launcher that it needs update again.>_<

 

lol your fast, 7 minutes you did all that?

Not sure what else i can do to help here but say do a complete re-install of the game, sorry. Maybe someone else can chime in and help.

 

well,what happened was,i removed L10N and bin32 folder.launched ncsoft launcher and repaired it.only this time,it went through.the only content of bin32 folder was CryPhysics.dll.i reinstalled crystalaion and launched the game.then it says its not available on your country.

 

My bin32 folder has 54 files 48.7MB total, something is wrong with your update/repair.

Id recommend completely removing aion and starting over fresh. redownload and install NCsoft launcher from NCsoft main site then installing aion all over again.
