Advice please

Hi, I'm probably doing it wrong but is it normal to have a level 55 glad 2-shot a level 52 sin?

Any advice to prevent this, would be appreciated.

 

It depends on the damage they did, If you can post the log of them attacking you and damage dealt for us to see, we can decide from there it is legit or not.

 

Oh I'm sure it was legit, just asking how to prevent it

Just anuhart. Minus the spaldron and gloves. I'm sure it's normal, however If someone could throw me some pointers so I could somehow _have a chance_ it'd be cool

 

There is nothing wrong with that damage dealt. I do that much on my glad. Also keep in mind your a sorc. Sorc's wear soft clothes so you do die fast.

 

I am an assassin. Not a sorceror. I simply asked, for advice. I wasn't trying to whine or argue it was a bug/exploit/what have you.

 

Well, as a sin you could hide and run. lol. If you have good enough weapons you can try stunlocking..

Assassins are definitely the hardest class in Aion to play, but when you do find a technique that works for you, you can beat any class. Although Temps and Glads have always been the hardest to kill with sins.

 

also get ur armor and weapon to +15 or else ull keep dying real fast

 

Number one advice:

See a gladiator charging up Severe/sure strike or something like that Focused Evasion, if it's a Sorc, do Aethertwisting. Blinding a gladiator is also nice. I suck at assassins, so yah xD

 

yes possible. especially when you got anuhart cloth lol.
to see if its a hack.
check the damage on your chat interface
be cautious of 5k+ damge especially when its not critical

my advice to you, dont stay 52.. lvl up to 55. that way u will do half the way to stand a chance
another thing, if u have anu +0 and not even a complete set , that gladiator is really weak dealing this dmg with SPC.
another advice, go over your skill list and check for skills that can help you defeat a glad, there arent many if the gald is well geared and you are not.
get good weapons, read guides.

Since when do sins wear cloth?

Where the hell are you people getting the idea that the guy is a sorc? The very first line in that log shows that he used the hide skill. Sorcs can hide?

Maybe I should drink some bleach, I'm curious how a ****ed up thinking process feels like.

Am i the only one seeing this?? That Glad hit him AFTER he used Hide II...

As far as i know, Glads dont have anything to see through basic stealth let alone Advanced stealth...

 

There is a short amount of time after using hide where you're still faintly visible. However AFAIK there's no way to select someone who's hidden, only way to hit them is with an AoE... maybe it was lag? Severe Precision cut takes some time(3-4s) to "cast".
