Gold medals

Well I`m just wondering how can I get some? On retail version it was ofc the fort raids... but here, where?

 

They've been removed from the server entirely* because of dupers.

*Well, Head GMs and Admins can spawn them

 

sieges work as of 2.0. no one knows if medals will be implemented in a mailing system for rewards.

 

never once a GM mention gold medals for reward as all event i had attended

 

I heard only 20 have been made, but there is a huge number of dupers out there..

In any case, if you want abyss items that require medals you're better off donating, or buying the items in game from someone else with some gm help.

What he said, since dupers kept duping them, getting basically free EAT/EGT sets, they removed them.

You used to be able to get them from fort guardians and by trading silver medals in for them.

 

Good medals were wiped from the server a few days ago. Only way to get them now is if head GM's or admins spawn them. Which they won't.

 

Well that`s pointless. So other words you guys are saying AP is pretty much useless here. Just got 150k to get my first EAT ring, and yet I can`t. Quite gay.

 

Pretty much. This is a "PvP"(Read as: Ranger) server were PvP is pointless.

 

For some reason, some of the duped medals didnt get wiped, so any you see at all, need to be reported. And pvp is just for the fun of it.

PvP is for fun, but all in all, you want to feel some progression. And waiting for 20 days of voting to get 1 piece of ABG is no progression. Yeah it`s a free give away and it`s understandable that it takes that long, but there should be also chances to get PvP gear in game. Personally, EAT is nothing compared to ABG (in a sense), so I don`t see why not fix a way to make it attainable in game. Afterall, it`s not easy to get 300k AP with a noob set.

 

iv gotten 100k Ap in a group, b4 i got premium in about 20mins. 300k isnt that hard

 

I got 600k ap yesteday with anuhart ._.

 

Try soloing on Lumiel, as it`s what most Elyos do.... 300k like that is hard especially with all the Asmos running in zergs. The point is, EAT is nothing special and not the best, and it should be obtainable in game and not only through donating.

 

well, lets say u get 3 gold medals from a siege, if u do a siege a day, that would still take forever to get them all, b/c if we ever add gold medals again, we will either make them untradable, or impossible to dupe, and seeing as the only way to make them undupable is by making them untradable.... so yeah.

Oh, and just to break it down, if u got 3 a day, it takes about 200 gold medals to get a full EAT set, thats 67 days, which is still a while

 

Afaik you get 3 silver and 3 gold medals via mail as reward for capturing fortress. At least it is correct for test server.

 

i hope they implement the fort siege system to allow people to obtain medals. the system is pointless without medals being given out as rewards. and don't give anyone the shit that it doesn't work cause it does in 2.0

 

Since it's a high rate server, it really wouldn't make sense to have AP @ 10/20x, and leave the medal drops at retail.
