questions with "Bugged" Skills

Well theres some fuss over ppl getting jailed for using "buggeD" skills. Im not a ranger and dont know a lot about the specifics of their skills but the individuals in question were jailed because they used their bugged skills. Did they merely use their skills knowing they were bugged or do something specific to exploit the bug in their favor?

And this opens a whole can of worms as many classes have bugged skills. A lot of SMs skills such as Fear are bugged. Does that mean they should be jailed for using Fear because its bugged and doenst work properly on this server? Are they not "exploiting" it everytime they use it. What about rangers with flurry arrow?

Or sorcs with a few of their skills. I heard they had a skill that boosts up their defense and/or restores mana but makes them sleep though that skill is bugged and they get the benefits but dont sleep. Does that mean they are exploiting and should be punished every time they use their skills?

or when Glads and Temps use shield defense that should only work when they have a shield equipped and they cant jump or fly when the skill is active but is bugged and many simply activate the skill and switch to their main weapons with the skill intact. Are they not "exploiting"?

and wat about skills that last for a time such as sleep, blinding burst/flash which have much longer durations than in retail. Those are bugged so are ppl also not "exploiting" when they use those skills?

So where is the line when it comes to this and what is the big deal with a ranger using sniper stance and hitting a few meters farther than he should?

I just wanna know why rangers are using sniper stance and hitting from 33m away and getting jailed. Theyre probably just spamming their skills. Thats what I do when I try to hit someone with a cleave combo or ankle snare. I sometimes just spam it until it procs and dotn even pat any attention at all to the distance meter. I also heard that theyre not always completely accurate anyways.

Zan. They weren't just hitting from 33 meters. It's a common bug that you can get hit from rangers from high up. I've been on a bloody mountain and have gotten hit. If they even have your target, they can hit you. It wasn't 33 meters. They weren't under the beam we were standing on. Which would've been like 28 meters itself. They were far back shooting us. But this is just getting out of hand

Rangers:

• Arrow Flurry - the stun effect is bugged, doesnt stun when used
• Bestial Fury - does NOT decrease attack distance when used, bugged
• Focused evasion - not sure about this but rumor says it can evade every attack for 5 seconds sometimes
• Passiveranged skill - does not state how much range it ads, skills say 25m but have noticed we can shoot at 27-28m, ad sniper stance to that could reach 30-35m?

I personally have rarely use sniper stance cause it slows your ground and flight movement speed down.

 

I never saw them running around slowly actually and yes, they were running around. I wish I took an SS, or a vid :3

I know, I've seen my friend use it. None of them were running slowly.

Precisely, there are many bugged skills, just because people use one skill that's bugged they get jailed, but others don't. Passive range skill doesn't say how many meters it add, so it's reasonable that with sniper stance it could reach that far.

It's quite obvious people don't pay attention to distance when they're trying to kill someone you just keep spamming the skill until it procs.

LOL. Exactly, even 2 meters is abusing. It's not like you can get away with stabbing a man twice and saying. "But sir, it was only two little stabs, I wasn't really breaking the law." Bullshit more.

She was using an example. They're the same thing. Both abusing, which means both jail-able.
