Sorc help

Hiya, i've been playing sorcer for a while, and it's magic to me..So i've got few questions.

On my armor what should i stack? HP + Magic boost is good?

On PvP i am going down pretty fast, i don't even get to kill anyone really, i am not doing much damage and i don't know why..

Also on PvP, which is better orb or a book?

 

hmm dont know much about sorcs but i heard some players that they prefer socketing magic boost.. or maybe try to experiment with other manastones.

For me you should use hp manastone for survival, why not magic boost? cause sorc already had enough of it so no need to add more. Casting speed buff/effect are not working atm, book are better.

 

Alright then... HP for sure then to just survive the extra bit of the fight.. But should i stack full HP or mix it with something? Crit chance meabe?? And why books btw? I though books are good at hitting higher lvl mobs, since they have higher accuracy than orbs. Orbs have better damage.. ?

 

I went full magic boost and orb with my sorc. Mostly cuz, pvp server and there's no cap on magic boost. You can go high as up to 3k (when supposed cap is 2600) and start doing 7k/8k spells and 11k+ DP spells.

I didn't do HP because on this server, sorcs die fast anyways, not like HP is gonna help me in the end game.


But if that was retail, that's a different story.

One more question, Is there a faster way to earn DP points?? To run DP skills?

 

i use pure magic bo0st on my sorc.
ORb is better for a Sorc & Book for Spiritmasters..

you can't kill in abbys? maybe you are using skills that that
takes to0 long to cast...the enemy is dead before you finished casting your spell ^^,

The book is best for sorcerer? I thought the orb was better ... But really ... True ... The book has more magical acuracy ... No? outy:

Actually books are better. People are getting smarter they stacking MR. So they can counter you if you do not take it upon yourself to up to magic accuracy a little bit.

As far as hp goes. For solo pvp if you do not how to manipulate your opponents maybe hp will be best for you.

I know good sorc who stack magic boost cuz they use root, sleeps, and lock down spells very well. They do not worry about getting hit because they do not plan to.

Group pvp definitely magic boost more power the better. Group pvp tank types should be the front of the lines.

But it looks to me you been playing sorc for awhile. I do not know why you doubting yourself now.

Btw Pvp defence can help you with those pvp attacks if you do not have pvp gear already.

Question: I've always made asmo player, and i was thinking about making an ely one, but i heard that asmo sorc are better than elys ones, is that true?

nah lmao - sorc don't need more hp - sorc survive depends of fast reflex!!!!!!!(use alvais hibrid stigma build -if u are on crystal ) -
my sorc is almoust full mb - with only 6 hp manastones +95!!!!!!!! How long sorcs have skills to boost acc is prety ok !!!!!!!!
to go for full hp is 1 - u will not make more that 3-4 k with gl shard ( 3 seconds cast time ) - rengers can make 5k (instant shot) - so u will became a joke !!! Asphel sry but isn't right - u had that build in 1.9 wen sorcs were op(no mr ) and huge amount of dmg with only a few mb !!!! well now things are changed - u can't use full hp cuz u will became usless)- to use full hp u will became a cleric winouth healing powers !!!!!- so it will be boul....
i play sorc on crystal (on stigma chain is aloved - can't have all skills ) and is prety nerfed cuz some classes are just op like - rengers / galds / sms !!!!!!(more op that in retail) -
as build i use 2 greater stigmas from uper chain and 3 from lower chain!!!!!!

also for a sorc my opinion is that mastarius is more efective - rise youre mr to 1.6k - and with elemental ward reach 1.9 k for 1 min (cd of skill is 3 min ) - so with 1.9k mr u will have great chances to resist stun / silence !!!!!!!!!! -
and maybe hp build will work wen they will implement spell cryt !!!!!! - till there trust me - only wai for a sorc to survive is to have fast reflex and to know how to use chains of skills !!!! also to kill the enemy with a few shots !!!!
sorcs can be very powerfull but also very weak -

Lol hp is always the better sorc build. Don't listen to Hex he only comes to pvp every 2 hours or so or when he's in a zerg. High damage means nothing if you're not alive long enough to use it. To all the sorcs who use glacial build on crystal. Thanks for all the free ap you've given me.

IMO i think sorc should socket MR stones on their armor & MB on their tome, tome adds MAC, although orb does more damage, sorc could be easily killed by magic classes too, so MR is recommended, for melee class u already got illusion & wintry, try to kill them before they touch u.
