Cleric help

Hi,

I was wondering how much would 3000 block help cleric playing vs gladiator/templar/ranger ?

Please feel free to post anything useful.

It would help well I'd think, but then you'd be completely vulnerable to Sorcs and SMs.

 

I really don't know what manastones to socket to my cleric.

I tought 2x abg sets (block + magic resist) would be the best idea but since macro doesn't work to switch between sets I have no idea.

 

If you have two abg sets, then your fine.. one for block against melee, one MR against casters.

 

I use full mres on my cleric. Some like hp for whatever reason but you can also do a mix of mres and hp. I have never heard of a cleric using block manastones.

 

If you tell me how to switch between sets would be good idea =) (manually switch doesn't count =))

 

Yeah most of the people I knew on retail used MRES or HP stones. Block was more for Temps than anything. I also heard of a few using PCH but thats just their playstyle I guess.

 

Block isn't a bad idea really against melee, especially considering the amount of damage an abg shield would reduce on successful blocks.

 

I want to see you play vs templar/glad/ranger/assassin with mres set =).

 

Templar = dead
Glad = dead if he doesnt run when I use blind
Ranger = see above but hard to kill
Sin = I'm having some issues with these since 2.0. They're stronger now so I have to work it out. Before I could kil them pretty easily.

 

You should come to Sanctum one day and play versus one Templar we have in our legion. =) Because with mres set I just can't kill him =)

 

I am on Crystal server so that wont happen anytime soon. I won duel with a templar when he had full abg +15 and I didnt even have full anuhart. Just have to time your skills right and make sure you root and run.

 

temp - can resist ij, magic smash then just kite to death
glad - you can resist ankle snare (if they manage to get ankle snare on you, blind)
ranger - not sure
sin - resist rune bursts

dont quote me 100% but i think thats what it is.

Are you playing on Crystal too? Because in GamezAion I have 2173 MR but I can't resist magic smash or ankle snare.

 

I'm templar full mastarius only abg acc .. Mastarius is much better than abg.. With abg i get only 3.400 block! With mastarius i get 5.500 block.. (buffed of course) But still if a sorcerer or SM comes to me they KICK MY AZZ. Badly.. XD

 

Evasion isnt better for cleric? (againts melee)
