ive been waiting so long for gamez to update to 2.0, im so excited its going to 2.0.0.3 so that i can finally play ( i had 2.0.0.2 installed )

so i go to update. and left it to update to 2.3, and when i come back its done and i discover

its version 2.0.0.4!!!!


so im curious. if its just 1 version higher, will 2.0.0.4 work with 2.0.0.3??

i cant just go redownload 13GB installers. so im stuck at 2.4 till next month

 

its still working with 2.0.0.4

 

oh thank GOD, i was scared id have to wait another month lol, i wanna play so bad, i love Gamez aion setup, its perfect for my game style

That why i have a copy save from 1.9 and a 2.0.0.3 from another server i play... Just in case... With all the troubles u guys have cause the update i might just copy the new version i have and put it in Gamez folder and try it out...

 

whatever happened to the days were you just got a bin32 folder and changed the version.ini and u could connect to a 1.5 server with versions like 1.7/9

i remember alot of servers doing that , connect to really old version with just a bin32 folder and it would work. i guess aion changed alot

 

so its best to find a 2,3 or should i just go via auto.

 

well from what ive read there saying its working with 2.0.0.4 , but i havnt seen any official test or screenshots of that. so i am worried about when the update happens

would be nice if we can get some Definate confirmation that it works to comfort our fears

 

anyone knows how to fix those having windows 7 64bit OS?
a friend of mine has been having difficulties updating his client to 2.0.0.3

he has been getting a certain error in his bin32 folder.

i have told him to remove his bin32 and let the launcher give him a new one,
also asked him to run his launcher as admin

but still same problem

i tried to send him a bin32 but gmail has a safety feature not allowing .exe files to be sent. hehehe

 

i tried deleting my bin32 folder and it says aion no longer exsists when i do lol
