[Guide] How to dye most things

So first off, by using the remodel system, you can technically "bypass" the undyeable qualities of items. How? You can remodel a set that CAN be dyed into the set you want to dye. So here's how it goes. You can obtain ANY white armor of the same kind (plate to plate, cloth to cloth, etc.) in capital cities and in armoriers etc. Just buy a full set.

Go to remodel guy.

Put the white set as the BASE. Put the set you wanna dye as the REMODEL set.

Do this for each piece.

DYE NOW (If you put the white set on now, you should see the end result of this process)

Now put your BASE armor as BASE (the one whose stats you wanna keep) and the white DYED set as the REMODEL set.

What this method allows you to do is dye those sets that can't be dyed but are purely used for remodeling. But what if someone wants to dye the set they use as their actual armor?

First off, go here http://www.aiondatabase.com/

Look up the set you want to dye. Choose ONE piece of that set (chest, boots, etc.). Scroll to the bottom. You should see multiple tabs (dropped by, comments, etc.). Choose SAME MODEL. Now here's the tricky part. If it does NOT HAVE ONE, or if the model is NOT OBTAINABLE in game, you can't dye that armor. But this is not true for most items. Choose same model, and choose one of the options it gives.

Now obtain this same model set. For AP items, this is usually quite easy. Basically the set looks the same despite some color differences and a name difference. For our purposes, this is fine since we are TRICKING the game.

Once you obtain the set, follow the technique I listed before:

Go to remodel guy.

Put the white set as the BASE. Put the set you wanna dye as the REMODEL set.

Do this for each piece.

DYE NOW (If you put the white set on now, you should see the end result of this process)

Now put your BASE armor as BASE (the one whose stats you wanna keep) and the white DYED set as the REMODEL set.

Even though you remodeled into the same exact MODEL, your color should now be different. if you need to repeat, you will need to clear the remodel (patter reshaper thingie next to remodel guy) since you can't remodel items with the same NAMES on top of each other.

so you mean like we will remodel 2 times???

1st- pick a set that can be dyed
2nd remodel the 1st set that you dyed (e.g. white) to the set that you want to remodel in you Main set(stats set)
3rd- remodel the set (the set that you remodeled in the 1st set that dyed in white to your main set

is that what you mean?

tutorial would really help. Its confusing. Now bear in mind, this really only works for most 50 gears, and ESPECIALLY EAT. EAT is the main thing that I used this method for. I did use this for ice black I think, but yes you need 2 sets that look the same. But they can't have the same name. So often times there are crappier/easier models you can get to dye it through. For example. for EAT, you can buy the trinity set for 170k AP and dye using that method.

Well,how do i dye Elders then? I cant get into Draupnir Cave to get the same models *Asmo here*,it keeps saying that : You cant enter because you are from a different race
