Question?

After Aion is fully installed do I just directly install GamezAion launcher? Or is there any files that need to be put into my Aion folder? Never installed an Aion private server, so I don't exactly know if the process is the same or if it differs from other private servers.

 

Just run the GamezAion Installer.. make sure the install path is in correct folder..

C:\Program Files\NCsoft\Aion

for most people and you're good to go.

u will also need the newest 2.0 item.pak and systen.ovr files first before running the GamezAion Launcher

 

So after isntall, update, and then download Gamez launcher?

 

what if i only updated using the launcher? would it work?? do i still need to change some files? is there a step by step thread on how to update? :smile:

 

Okay so I have a couple questions. Is the 2.0.0.4 already in the NCSoft Update? Or is there a certain file I need for that? Is the bin32 download only if you are having errors? And when you download the new item.pak and npc.pak do you replace the ones that already exist in your Aion folder, or just leave those there? Or are all of these files automatically updated once you download the GamezAion launcher?

 

Yes when you update it will go to 2.0.0.4. The bin32 download is only for errors. You replace the existing items.pak and npc.pak with the new one. In the case of errors when starting the game.. simply delete and repair with the NcSoft launcher.
