How to gather stuff?

I am lvl 1 all gathering skills.
How to level them up? Is lvl 1 Aria glitched? I can't even collect them...
And how to get aether? Diamond powder thing? :crying:

I had been flying around in aion for hours to find something to gather... Feel soo bad right now for wasted all the time searching and finding stuff >.>

Their are level 1 essence gathers outside Verteron called Inina. They are all around the city. In fact I solely leveled essencetapping to expert level just around there.

Aether Tapping can be leveled similarly on the aether floating in the sky.

 

where in the sky?

 

If you are in Verteron they are all around the Abyss Gate that floats in the sky. They show up as little floating greenish rocks. They are hard to miss.

Also if you have trouble finding essence or aether you can always go to Sanctum and purchase the essencetapping/aethertapping hats from their subsequent npcs and they will show them on the map up to a specific level.

 

BTW i cannot collect anything. it is all red. Even it is lvl 1.

 

Have you tried //givemissingskills already?

That may be your issue then. Try that command first as it normally gives the essence/aethertapping skills.

Hmm I m pretty sure aria is glitched. I have lvl 1 collection but it doesnt work after I click on it 1000 times.

 

Best not to worry about Aria. Once you reach Verteron, the Inina that surrounds it is fine.

 

I think you were trying to gather in poeta after you went past level 9, once you ascend you have to gather in other maps.

 

This is correct. "Collecting" becomes Essence and Aethertapping once you ascend.

Like Selik said, go to verteron map and collect gatherables around the vert cit and collect aether around there, once your essensetapping and aethertapping hits 99, 199, 299, 399 you have to upgrade them by going to sanctum and upgrading your skill. the npc in sanctum is in the back by the elevator.
