You get across the gate by getting an Elyos char, a templar, and letting them pull asmos across.

 

They do it often... i see asmos around ingisson town thru that way. But also thru mountain climbing.

Sorcers
Assassins

Sorcs can Blind Leap backwards and Sins can ambush anyone on the other side.

 

Glads can leap smash.

 

Also tried this but since the animation has been changed, it didn't work. D:
