Private Stors for Trades?

so I'm confused, I was on the game today, and people were talking about trading ABG accessories.

When I informed them that it wasn't able to be done anymore, they told me it could be using the private store. I didn't believe it so I tested it with some other gear (anuharts) that also isn't currently tradeable serverside.

I could put it in my private store, but it was invisible to anyone who looked in my store. I expected that. However, later on I was browsing other peoples private stores and they had the EXACT SAME armor piece that I tried to put in my store, and I could see it and buy it.




can someone explain how that's done? I have the item pack installed, and when I asked the person how they did it the only difference that we found was they were on 2.0.3 and I was on 2.0.4

I'm not asking to abuse it or w/e, I don't even know if it could be abused, I actually was considering doing it to trade items to my friends (anuharts) until it becomes tradeable again.

I have heard this rumor too but havnt tested it, i guess i could test it as i have ABG and am running 2.3

Well like i said im running 2.3 and tried this out and no i couldnt see the abg or anuhart that was in shop to buy it. now there are some anuhart parts that the item pak doesnt allow to be traded. The item pak just needs more work and i think alente knows about this.

i have a full sin set but can only trade the chest piece and nothing else .

 

I'll take a screen shot after I get home from class, if the server hasn't been updated to allow trading yet.

I've not seen it done with ABG, I've currently only seen anuhart armor in private stores, but since those are currently untradeable (server side) just like ABG is *shrugs*. but yeah I'll try to run around the private stores when I get home and get a screenie

So am I just dumb, because when I put my templar BP up in a private store it can't be seen, anyone else care to test it for me? I know I've gone up to other shops as well that are completely empty and devoid of items

I sorta want to know because people who CAN manage to get their items into a Pstore have an extreme andvantage on the market situation right now for new characters, when everything is either gone, or the only ones left are at 1billion to buy, when they are normally like 30m or something (the people who did that are gettign lucky too)

thats an anuhart piece and anuhart gear CAN be traded if you have the new item.pak

Other than if you read the most recent update 10/17 (yesterday) it can't be, it isn't enabled server side YET, even though it is going to be.

I tested it with my own anuhart pieces, and it was invisible in the store. If you care to meet me in game, I can show you.

 

Hey i can put my Anuhart pauldron,shoes,gloves,and pants in the trade but i can't put my Mail in trade...i believe i soul bind that only piece but shouldn't it be able to trade still?
