FFS remove the speed bonus for rangers and sins and give all classes the same speed

    This is retarded a lot of people QQed when glads and temps had a speed bonus despite that being the case in retail and the bonus was removed and that was fine when all classes had the same base speed

    Now its retarded that rangers who can already attack from 25-30 meters away and even farther depending on buffs and such now have an even BIGGER advantage in ground combat.

    While the melee classes which are supposed to be on the FRONT lines are now stuck trying to keep up like the fat kids in gym class. and by the time they get to a lot of fights most ppl are dead and the survivors are running and long gone while the sins are free to pick off the laggers one by one

    This needs to be changed

    not glads and chanters, and that one skill shouldnt warrant a speed bonus for rangers who can kite nonstop now ....So

    I think their ability to stack a run scroll + karniff/worg souls is acceptable but that fact that they can use skills with that combo is unbalanced. They should have to remove the Animal form to attack.

    Their base speed is the same as everyone else, its buffs that change them.

    if thats the case then it needs to be fixed. buffs or no buffs its absolute crap that the class that has the longest range attacks has the fastest speed

    not exactly tiny ...... 50+ metres away

    but since i have enabled a very verbose chat mode, i can also see that server side lag along with your isp lag OFTEN shows sorcerors hiting people from 50+ metres away, it is like when a loooong casting skill starts at 25m then hits you at 75m away.......

    if sorc / summoner skill is casted over 50% (within 25 m distance) on a target it doesnt matter how far u ve runed away, it will still hit target, thats advantage of a sorc cuz sorc cant move while casting. sorcs have only 2 instant skills and they are not worth using

    It's my personal preference to use fast skills like those two, flame fusion and soul freeze...



    In terms of how the skill is casted regardless of distance, that is true to a varying degree:

    #1: I need to start casting on you as you run away.

    #2: If the skills didn't continue, sorcerers glacialshard/inferno/flamespray abilities would be utterly useless for the most part as anyone in pvp with half a brain has a +30% speed scroll and would zipp in the opposite direction.



    Added: and a sorcerer who only knows how to mash long-cast-time skills will never truly be at their peak potential. One needs to incorporate all the abilities to truly profit.

    I bet if Beastial Fury I gets fixed about reducing bow range. Number of rangers in this server would get thin.

    Rangers have uber high attack, and def means absolutely crap in this game.

    Read why this should be fixed, use your brain and think for a second then repost. If you disagree then come up with a valid argument instead of higher hp and def for glads and temps crap.

    That Animal transform should be fixed..
    Since they are able to use skills while transformed...

    that and a lot of other skills from the other classes need to be fixed as well, still waiting for fear to work properly :whistling::whistling::whistling:

    its sad seeing my character get pew pewed in 2 seconds... with 10k+ hp, partially buffed ranger with beastial fury and worg ( no skill animation) is just ughh.... too OPed

    Yes, because rangers are suppose to stand still and get raped by gladiators or other melee characters. Rangers have almost not defense at all. We're like paper. At least gladiators have defensive buffs, they can also root and use charge.

    [edit] I mean the only thing speed would do is help glads get kills, but in the long run and when you think about it, it'll just make glads more OP since they have UD as well.

    +1, glads can hit ridiculously high, sometimes 1 or 2 hit KOing rangers, but a ranger can't have better speed? tell me how can a "RANGE"er actually, keep it's range when a glad can outdo it in speed hmm?
