MSN vs Xfire?

Im surprised at some of you gamers are still using MSN, was just curious why you guys enjoy MSN over Xfire? Xfire is meant for gamers and can be used while IN game .

Please explain.

 

i use team speak used mumble before but that didn't go well,lotz of buzzing double speak and all.didnt try x-fire but i probably will if its as good as u say

 

I use both MSN and xfire, because I have a lot of RL friends that I talk to on MSN that don't play online games.

 

I use both, though I dont really talk to ppl on MSN all that much If you have me on MSN, please talk to me!! :crying::crying::crying:

 

MSN = Mostly using for hot chicks, since they don't have time to play games and must spend their time to stay healthy/hot whatever they're doing.

XFire = For my gaming buds obviously

Chatting with rl friends is better with MSN but talking with other gamers during playing aion is way easier with X-Fire since there's a command (Scroll Lock+X) which gives you pop-up chat window from X-fire so you can watch the Aion happenings on full screen while chatting

MSN has more of my important friends on it, the ones that I talk to more. I've also been using msn for around 7 years or more so its long since been my favorite chat program. Almost everyone uses it so its convenient to ask for as not everyone uses Xfire.

More importantly though, MSN has a better interface and I like the skins for it better, you could say MSN is like the hot girl you want to be with all the time, and Xfire is the ugly photographer girl that you keep around just incase.

EDIT: Also I run dual screens and my aion is in full screen windowed mode so I can tab into MSN/forums just as fast as I can open up the xfire interface.

To you guys that say most my friends use MSN those friends could always be given the www.xfire.com link to convert over .

I use all 3.. msn, voice chats, and xfire.

Also.. I use msn because I have a life and friends that don't play video games all the time.

 

xfire is an application that allows one to connect directly to anothers location within a game, providing he/ she has the game installed.. its also a tool used instanting messaging, video upload, events, leagues, imaging.. i won a competition from it and got a Xfire t-shirt and other bit and peices.

msn is just for personal communication.. via text, vebal or cam..

 

I prefer to use my cell-phone. But when Ima broke at the end of the month I send letters coz they are really cheap xD

yes, indeed vent - i'd say : vent is suited for this game , it would be much easier

BTW i just reinstalled my MSN and guess ill start using it again along with xfire but if im gaming i wont answer to MSN as there is no hot key to open it up in game .
