    I use 4 programs.

    Xfire/TS3/Vent/MSN

    As Stated by the others.

    MSN/YM Messengers - RL Friends/ Important Contacts/ Family / etc...
    TS3/Vent - Voice Chat Program with Guild/Legion/Clan mates on a Certain Game
    Xfire - Records Game Time. Can also be used as a Voice Chat program. Used also for recording in-game events and Screen Shots.
