how to trap/extract aether and where?

start off at verteron. On the sky.
Then go storm circle for aether

 

dID you MEAN farming aether??

if your posts means how to level your aethertapping then follow this procedure,


go to sanctum, crafter's area at the north of the map, then find the aethertapping npc. Speak to him to get level one. Got to verteron and then fly up in the air till you see the first aether harvestable nodes there..... level your eathertapping to 99, then go back to sanctum, speak to the eathertapping npc and improve your level again.....

repeat this everytime your level reaches . 199, 299, 399

AETHER nodes can be found over and around the skies of verteron fortress , eltnen, heiron and then for burning eather nodes either at Storm circle in heiron , north-east of Jeiparanan village (for elyos) and of course at ingisson at the new area in taloc;s hollow (a free-fly area) where you can also find the new aether nodes, magical aether...

the npc behind the stand at sanctum also sells hats that enable you to see where the aether nodes are on your map..... it is helpful.
