A plea...

I am begging you to please change all of my gears to templar gears.


I seriously played a sorcerer so that I could enjoy the class as it was meant to be played.


This includes BoQ and insignia use...


For a squishy spiker class like the sorcerer it is almost vital to get the spike on someone (whether this means sleeping them followed by delayed explosion / lava tempest and than going in for the kill). Without that spike you are pretty much dead, ABG or not.


That goes 10x so with the armsfusion gladiators skipping around...

I seriously thought that this server was going to be more retail-like, but now that all players can abuse insignia's with moderator approval this is just horrendous for my class...

BoQ isn't even functioning how it has supposed to the past few days, wintry armor is broken (I don't blame anyone for that), and benifits of armsfusion for my class are moot at best... and insignia's pretty much have destroyed any chance I have of PvPing on a sorcerer.

So I am asking as sincerely as I can, please change all of my gear over to templar gear...

Weapon:
+15 ABG orb -> +15 ABG GS

I don't care about secondary weapon I fused...

Armor:

Full cloth EAT set +15. -> Full plate EAT set +15...

+15 ABG gloves -> +15 Abg shield...

ABG: both rings/necklace/

EAT: belt, both earings... -> melee (ruby) versions.

I don't even care about the balic skin on the armor or godstone on the weapon or any manastones...

I also have 1k credits... I'll spend them on whatever you want... please help me.


I hope that this will be receptive... Please please do this for me. I do love gamezaion and have stuck with it for a very long time and don't have any intent of giving it up... but my character I have invested in (obviously from the gears right...) is worthless now...

I totally understand where your coming from, I hope you get what you ask for. It sucks to like playing a class and working extremely hard and then basically it all coming down to nothing.

 

Yeah... I am praying that these gears can be changed over...

If trading was allowed I wouldn't have any issue doing it myself!... but it is not

My gears are legit and any GM, admin or mod can look back and check to see that I am being 100% honest


I thought insignia use was only going to be a one day thing and then I come back to forums and I see they are perminent... after all the effort I've put into this character I just want to cry...

 

Damn dude, well I hope it doesn't come to you having to cry about it, if you don't get a post response I'd suggest speaking directly to one of the GMs.

 

It's just so horrible to invest so much into a character that is great and then now this item is allowed to be abused and my character is unplayable for me...

I will try and speak to Alente as he is pretty awesome and I think he may be willing to help (No doubt in my mind he could).

Bump, I really really would love this to happen... a new day and the situation is still the same... I can't do anything with my character anymore...

Playing a caster class was hard enough with 80% of the server being rangers with unpottable silence arrow... now it is utterly impossible...

Please... I am not asking for this without reason...

Just tell people you know that actually respect whatever PvP is in this game to vote no

Glads, Temps, Chanters, Clerics, and SMs who know a decent amount on how to PvP will tend to like this, while classes like Rangers, Sorcs, and Sins will suffer, if not, die out. Too bad that's only 3/8 classes so the voting is already kind of biased in a way.

No, your gears arnt going to get changed. Dont give up hope though alente has mentioned some things about possible trading.

 

Oh god... they really won't be at all? I've spent so much on this server... now my character is unplayable...

My concerns really aren't false..

-Many rangers running around with unpottable silence arrow pretty much killed my class off initially.
-BoQ is broken... does the elyos version effect.
-Now insignias are in my glacial shard that would do 5k damage to a person wearing ABG only does 2.5k... this is insane considering it has a 4 sec casting time... even worse for the other spells....

This is so unfair... after all the time and money invested I have what is only a dead paperweight...

 

some classes are short burst dps classes not capable of having long battles, thats why insignias killed those classes <<< ranger //

 

As for the trading thing, I'm not too sure as I haven't seen the post of it.

- Agreed. healing pots need to be fixed, though Alente's probably working on it atm, so you just have to be grateful for all the work he's done This game's PvP was based on the assumption that people could pot off 2 debuffs.

- BoQ was changed intentionally in the last update in the update notes post. However, I made a post about it called "Asmo BoQ Nerf" you can search for that and take a look at the last post, that might make life a bit easier for you ^.^

- Insignias really are a problem as many people who understand how PvP is really supposed to be have already stated that there are burst damage classes that this will have a very negative effect on.

I am very appretiative of Alente's work, no doubt! I just wish that healing pots worked already... being silence arrow'd by a ranger and basically having to accept death is really lame... :S

With BoQ not stacking I can still reach 99% casting speed theoretically...

so with that is it going to be removed again? That is terribly unfair...

*ABG gloves +8%
ABG orb +20%
Miragent/Fenril fang title = +2%
Greater awakening = +9%
BoQ = +50%
and magic boosting = +10%...


So... my class is going to end up losing BoQ again... regardless of it being legit...

Also with insignia on I've already said I hit at most maybe 5k on a fully ABG geared character with my glacial shard.... now its 2.5k..

Taking in even being able to instant cast I can do 2.5k + 1.7k + 1.7k damage using glacial then flame spray and then inferno... and that definately isn't enough to kill a player who doesnt even touch hp stones or anything...

I am pretty much screwed... I spent so much investing into a great character that I could rely on and now all I can do is sit here on it with rangers being the most popular class being able to instant silence me and then rip me a new one in seconds (even with insignia), I am still 3-4 shot by a gladiator with a extendable fused with ABG... and my damage is horrible and cast time dependant...

and I would love to just donate and get a new set of gear... but I am not made out of money and I've clearly supported the server... and I am just asking that the server give back and take 2 minutes of their time and support ME.... I'm not asking for that much... comeon...

-1.2k credits on my account right now = 12 dollars

-ABG orb = $20

-EAT set (I got it a while ago when it was 20... now its only 15... so I'll go with 15..) 5 x 15 = 75 dollars there..

-ABG gloves = 20 dollars

-(two) golden nyanco pets at 10 dollars each = 20 dollars...

-many enchantment stones (I even have approx 9 145's left on my char...) = many dollars invested

-two sapphire eat earings = 10 dollars (now at least)

-abg necklace = 10 dollars

- abg rings (2) = 20 bucks..

-eat belt = 5 bucks..


So I have spent at least 192 on my gears ... that isn't even looking at enchantment stones used....


I deserve at least this courtesy... please!

And I have an EAT 'plate' helmet and an EAT 'cloth' helmet... = 20 dollars too there... so over 200 dollars to this server...

LOL NEVAH even tho chanters get facerolled in duels ( not all the time tho i pwn most peeps..) i still love the chanter style of playing. Chanter in pt is great help. Would never trade items for one of the MOST oped classes in gamez aion. It just sux, i say if your a good sorcerer... i suggest u stay in there, with insignias implemented you will survive much longer.

 

I am a good sorcerer... but with insignias all classes can pretty much get to me and lock me down or if it is a glad 3-4 shot me.

I loved sorcerer but I cannot play it on this server anymore... it is absolutely aggrivating to the point where I end up logging out. The fact I spent well over 200 dollars on it as well hurts too... if it was just in anuharts I would have no issue throwing it away... but more than 200 (probably the truth being more near 300) is just... utterly painful to lose...

It doesn't matter how good you are... with hitting only 2.5k damage on a person with your most powerful ultimate nuke and stacking all magicboosting options avaliable to you... you aren't worth anything in pvp...

Also I did play a templar for a short while on retail, which I really enjoyed so its my second choice for a class.

 

i agree but atm its impossible to solo, so sorcs are actually very needed in group pvps to CC/aoe other groups. You also have to take in consideration the insignia CD of 10 min, and sometimes people die with it having CD time left, which makes them vulnerable in pvp. So just keep an eye out. Im still for staying on your sorc, get in a good legion which pvps frequently and just CC/aoe the crap outta people

 

After spending over 200 dollars I really don't like the idea of being a overglorified spiritmaster... fml...


After all my support to the server (which should be obvious since I do have these gears on me right now worth this much- I am not stretching the truth!) it shouldn't be so big of a deal for someone to take 5 minutes of their time and help me... T_T
