That is not possible as hitting alt tab will stop the recording.


As for being a bug or hack it is definitely a BUG due to HIGH PING and server side skill checks.

There is NO hack here as you can see in both his/her videos cool downs are running AFTER he/she hit the 2 skills that have the same cool down.

If he/she WAS running a COOL DOWN hack you would NOT see any cool down on any skills used.

Now in my opinion permanently banning for a single bug use is just wrong, warning would be more sufficient then a permanent ban if continued use. But thats not my call /shrug.

On the other hand, this player has shown you guys yet another BUG in the server and should be looked into and not passed off as a hack (which its not).

 

man ive seen other temps hitting WAY faster than that.... and also about that 2 skills not having CDs, i donno, its just bug abuse but not a ban...
I suggest a GM tests this "trick" before you bring out the BANHAMMER... if you are also managing to do it then i call Bug Abuse not hax..

 

thanks bro.. i know u tell the truth, ur not on my side or anyone's side.. technically u understand how skill work as i see that.. this server really need GM like u coz u'll observe player carefully unlike the underage GMs who got no experience in online game. and elyos must learn a lot from u..

 

Using Berserking + Daevic fury (3k) + Zikel's Threat (4k) is a pretty amazing feat. I've done it before and the results are...well, scary to say the least.

As far as claims of a CD hack, I don't think so. However it IS bug abuse. So I'd recommend not by-passing skill CDs like that--well, if another AM hasn't already dropped a banhammer on you =\

Your right im not on anyones side. Im just pointing out an overlooked issue on how to determine between hacks and bugs.

Being an Admin on several FPS (first person shooters) games and working with Punk Buster for many years i feel i know enough about the difference between hacks and bug exploits.

With that said you shouldnt be using this BUG EXPLOIT to your advantage (not saying you are), that would indeed warrant a permanent ban in my eyes.

But will not record anything outside the current game your playing like recording your desktop, if your using xfire or fraps.

Whatever the outcome of this thread is the bad thing about it all is now it reviled detailed info on how to exploit the bug for everyone to use in game .

Hope someone is looking into this server side to get a fix for it........

 

well now i dont use it.. but we'll see how many player will.. and also untill now u must see many glads really have crazy speed using spear.. it's all bug!!!

 

Best you can do is report the bug abuser, NOT abuse the bug yourself for revenge , dont jeopardize your account .

To get revenge just video or screen shot any player you see abusing exploits or hacking to the report section on the forums.

if u GM wanna jail /ban bug abusers, let's take a look..

rangers => before bestial fury fixed, they can buff it em self without decreasing their atk range. so we can call them bug abuser rite,,

glads = > early aion private server since 1.0 to 1.5 , glads can use slaughter, aion strengh, defense preparation and shield defense stacked together, they're fixed in 1.9, but not to shield defense, u can pop up shield defense while using a shield and switch weapon to GS or SPEAR and shield defense still on, it's fixed in 2.0

Temps => U can use barricade of steel when u using a shield, change weapon to GS and its still running. in the skill description barricade of steel requires a shield to up, so this is bug abusing too ?

assassin => in 1.0 , and middle 1.5 the rune skill and blinding burst doesnt work. this class a bit pathetic coz the healing skill using runes still not work yet.. this class is under powered so if other class killing sins using their bugged skill is that bug abuser??

sorcerer = > robe of cold untill now doesnt reflect any damage, this class doesnt have bugs as many as other, but so many their skill doesnt work yet. and this class cant bug any set effect weps

for other classes i dont mentioned, u can determine what are the bugs by urself

so u guys gonna ban all player ?
