(Bored) Does anyone believe in 2012?

but no not really.
It's the same as Y2k and 6-6-06. Random bs people make up to spaz people out. I guess it makes some people giggle.
I was 11 when the whole Y2k thing was big, I went on my home computer, changed the date to 2000, then laughed at everyone who thought the big companies computers, which I'm sure were far more sophisticated than my PC, would crash and end the world.

 

For the sake of humanity we can only hope so.


but really, I have lots I want to accomplish before then, so I hope not..

You can't really predict the end of the world.

And the arguments for 2012, are just laughable.

No, that is conceited and uneducated.


Also, before calandars were even made (sp) the planet existed before than and humanity existed before then as well.


No matter what pattern of thinking you follow.


#1: Humans didn't evolve holding a ancient calendar that only went to 2012.

#2: God didn't give humans calendars to beat eachother upside the head with (though that may be a good idea to be bestowed a weapon to knock the silly out of some people!)

#3: If you folow the bible or quran or a multitude of religions < other than silly things like scientology which is more or less an outcry for movie stars to show they have skitzophrenia(sp)> then you will have a great idea that the world is FAR from over even by their standards.


Physically the world is fine, ecosystems are in balance, toxin levels are fine, nuclear arms race quieted down MANY years ago... now if u said 2012 or w/e back then people would believe you without a doubt...! Even global warming scientists are beginning to believe is a fallacy in itself and that it is a normal fluctuation of the Earth's "homeostasis" <homeostasis = keeping constant or relatively "normal" for an environment>.


So honestly... anyone thinking the end of the world is going to happen on 2012 is:

#1: Unreligious

#2: Unscientific

So... what are those people if not those things? Idk... stupid?

I think I'll stick with they are being concieted.

Also incase anyone forgot we also had Y2K bug at the year 2000... and many other things.


NOW if you said some crazy terrorist attack or illuminati thing may happen (which I don't believe in either)... then you may have something I'd believe if you got evidence.

Aside from that I think "end of the world" is bogus.
