Spear does unstable great damage slower attack speed and lacks of accuracy.
GS stable damage but has lower damage than spear. Have good accuracy(barely parried when attacking) more attack speed.

in my opinion spear for who playing with luck coz spear has wide margin of attack.

its not the same Mast has a lot more atk than abg so u should have done mast + abg

soft cap is 540 and its called soft cap cause after 440 you get 1% for every 20 points in crit.i have mine to 530+Major Crit Scroll and ready for the +15 armor crit resist and +15 from wings

 

fortunately i have proven that i wasnt hacking, and my id was unbanned, thanks for ur concern :lol:

 

yup its not the same you will get more attack from masta + ABG rather than ABG+masta

try to be patience to wait everything fixed, u will be able to craft master carved drenium Polearm which is more superior than masta spear

go with ur crit till 500+ w/o food/scrolls and u should be fine, and also stack some hp +95 stones and magic resist +14 stones

The answer to this question needs to be stickied.

The SOFT cap for crit rate is 540, this has been clarified multiple times, retail may or may not be different, but this is what gamez has.

• After 540 crit, instead of getting 1% for 10 crit points, you get .5%.
• After 100 points, it changes to .2% for 10 points.

Theoretically, to get 100% crit rate, you'd need 2,190 crit strike.

Now, just because the soft cap is 540 doesn't mean that's where you should stop. This is more of an opinionated matter, but if I were you, I'd forget attack manastones even existed, go 100% crit, maybe a few accuracy stones. I get 942 crit / 2450 accuracy and I still hit harder (or hard as) someone with 100% attack manastones.

If you wish to use HP or similar stones for a defense build, get another set of armor.

If you wish to "correct me", feel free to do so, but I've done the tests, I remember the numbers quite clearly.

Full Attack Manastones, DPS on an 80k hp mob; ~2,500 DPS.

Full Crit Manastones, DPS on an 80k hp mob; ~4,300 DPS.
(Long term DPS - more than 10 minutes - is a steady 3,700)

Just because that's PvE DPS doesn't mean it doesn't make a difference in PvP, if you look at it, instead of hitting 2,500 with, let's say, Crippling Cut, I'd hit 4,300. The advantages are fairly obvious.
