Parry and Block

    Which one lowers more damage? I'd assume it's parry for having a 40% hardcap.

    Block would essentially give more damage reduction if you had a decent shield at +15 giving you 60/70% dmg reduction on a block.

    advantage of parry = you can parry anytime hahaha

    advantage of block = you can block a better portion of the original dmg than parry but you cant block while using Greatsword or spear so... Q_Q

    block is reducing a lot more dmg than parry, but its only possible with a shield equiped, meaning less dmg, parry reduces less dmg, but its possible with any weapon meaning u also have an dmg advantage

    If you're not a templar, glad, or cleric with a shield, then blocks just aren't gonna happen for you

    Odd... I swear when I get parried I took less than the shield that's +15. I'll recheck in case my eyes were playing tricks on me.
