Complains about glad and templar defense

From my point of view, not only damage reduction but also implementation of Magic resist have brought us more balance.
Yes, rangers are no longer capable of 1 combo to kill glads anymore.
Try to change your style and tactics. Socketting only crit and attack manastone, and using Stunning shot-Agonizing Allow-Lightning shot combo is no longer as powerful as before.
It is not ABG gear makes them hard to be killed, It is their choice of manastone and tactics make them hard to be killed.
And ranger with mau form on the ground are still evil. So dont just stand and hit your strong skill as you did before.
Run and hit with entangling shots and gale arrow, and always keep your distance from enemy.
Yes, you have chance to reduce their movement speed even they have over 2000 Magic Resist. That is when you hit with your full skills.
That is how we play with glad and temp on retail.

 

Ohhhh BTW i saw some Asmodian and Elyos Templar Run with MAX Speed only with scrolls.. :unsure:

 

glad cannot 1 hit and ranger only sorc can do that...

my friend complains that they meet a templar in abyss and they are for on that situation,, 2 ranger, 1 sin and 1 chanter, my friend had a complete ABG gear and Also the chanter... i dont think what the templar wears but correct me if im wrong the Templar bring down all the 4 enemies... templar laughing at them...

Ppl still complaining? Pff... Seriously there's nothing wrong with Glads n Temps... Heck I wouldn't mind if they had more def or more HP lol... On the other hand compared to 75% of the players here I know my class n how to play it lol...

 

i think its fair enough Mage and ranger got range advantage its just SKILLS that matter i guess....

 

wtf complaining about templars..every class has his good/bad things..the templar has amazing deff but the atack speed and dmg sucks..

 

You die--- you complain.... you had to use your buffs to kill--- you complain... the guy escaped-- you complain.... you cant solo the whole server--- you complain... the other guy was a better player.. you complain... blah blah blah.... complain.

The most healthy thing is for you guys to go to a "retail" like server...

but then again...most likely you will complain because the server is "too" retail like...

Please keep in mind this is just a game... and there are many servers outside.. so no need to nag i think.

 

Like other have said you you said, a tank is tank. I play a temp, but i use it as a support class to stop being fleeing with all the movement/imparing/stuns so if you understand or even play a temp for a little while there are weaknesses, as with everyclass. And no making damage higher wont actually fix this the only thing that would make it less "class vs class" as far as being OP would be to make stigmas only earn able and hard at that. But then you get OP from that and new people will get slaughtered just like retail.

So we dont want that now do we

Its a game mechanic just like the x% pvp attack. So instead of critting a 5k on a player you hit a 2k (at 40% reduction).

 

you say that coz its advantage to your class.. hehehe tnx for the 50% reduction on dmg...

 

Retail like dmg reduction not only makes my class what it should be (a tank) but it gives it the disadvantages of what it is (a tank = lower dmg than other classes)what i meant by my earlier statement (something u clearly missed) was that u need to play and understand your class because classes in aion have very specific rolls to play sometimes u can play hybrid but most of the time unless u are fulfilling the roll set out and determined by your class you are not going to succeed as well as you should..UNLESS the server is geared that way and due to bugs your class becomes very OP and unbalanced..like rangers were up till this point..

Learn about your class is what im saying and realize whether you are DPS - CC - TANK - SUPPORT when u understand the basics like that u understand where u should fit in and will stop your incessant Q.Q ing.
