I think we both know what love means. o:

 

It's ones greatest strength and greatest weakness, and the only 'real' reason for life in my opinion.

 

Love is a noble act of self-giving, offering trust, faith, and loyalty. The more you love, the more you lose a part of yourself, yet you don't become less of who you are; you end up being complete with your loved ones

Love means too many things really, there is no actual definition, given it can be applied in many ways.

Like, you can have love for one special person, your family, things you like, things you feel(example of this: feeling secure and safe by someone). Or, or.. When you get so mad at someone but you can't cuss them out, cause you know it will hurt their feelings.

I believe we have two kinds of love, being one of them real and the other just a mere feeling, a mere perception ours.

The first kind is unconditional, not dependent of anything to exist, a person or qualities that we like, things, anything.

The second type is the lowest type, in fact we can not consider this as love, but just clinging to what pleases us, clinging to things or people that give us something in return.

Many people confuse what they feel for another person and call it love when it is actually just an addiction, attachment or projection of what we want, we appreciate, the qualities in another person.

The reflection of real love is expressed by an attitude of selflessness and compassion for all people and beings in the universe, without expecting anything in return, because without one, you love to love, simply that. For me, this is love, the rest is nothing but cheap sentimentality.
