Downloading the client.

    I was wondering if there was another way to download the client? Can I get it from a torrent site and just use your client patcher to play like a WOW private server?
    MY reason is this...I started downloading the game last night and this morning I was about 30% done when my power went out. (yay China) Anyways...after my power came back on I restarted the downloader only to see I am back at 0.0% I am asking for a safer albeit faster way to get the game.

    yes you can download the game client through torrent...

    if you had problem downloading it on ncsoft launcher,
    go to File>Settings>General then check the first box that says Run the Launcher in background so that the download will still continue...

    OK Thanks. I got the torrent file for NCSoft and I also found a torrent from a torrent website. I think the version is 1.9.0.x Either of these will work right? If I have the client updated I should be able to install and run your game client and update like usual? I will give it a shot and see. If not then I guess I will have to wait for the download to complete from the website...Impatient as I

    If I get that older version won't I be able to patch up to 2.0.x? I am still getting the one from the website...I was just checking to see if I can update from the older to the new by patching my way to victory...lol. Thanks for the reply.

    cool i was looking for a 2.0 client.

    i accidentally replaced my game client for this server with the new 2.1 like an idiot :p

    only question i have left now is will i be able to play on this server fine with a 2.0.0.2 client when the server is at 2.0.0.5?

    if not i may be outta luck till the server catches up again :(

    You should be fine yes but you can still update with that client to 2.0.0.5 and play ^^

    oh really i can? how can i get it to 2.0.0.5 after i finish the dl? wouldnt the retail aion server just jump directly to 2.1 now?

    It will patche through from 2.0.0.2 - .3 then .5
    after that stop the update.
