Legion Ranking reset but no Player Rank Reset?

Well, dont you think the 1.5b+ hard earned ap of top 10 legions was not from hard work? It's definitely the same thing. In both, you have to do hard work to obtain it. 3k is not that big you know? I gained 1.5k kills in just 5 days, so I can do it in 2 weeks. and yeah if youre that hardworking. No resets can take away from you the title. Because if youre active and doing constant kills from before til now. I dont see why youll get affected by the reset. Unless youre one of those 5k+ kills who are not playing anymore. Theyre rank are useless and should be replaced w/ new players who have just started and are also gaining same constant kills that you do or may be more.

 

why not do monthly, weekly and all time rankings? its not very hard to do, imo...

 

Are you serious? Actually wipe the player kills? Wth are you people saying, have you never played a mmo at all in your lives? You can't take something that someone has done and just wipe it from their character. That's complete bs actually, I'm not even on that list and I feel that way. There's a list like that on every other private server, if you want to beat it go pvp, stop whining on the damn forum and go pvp. Or remove the player ranking from the site, and just leave the legion ranking if all your going to do is complain >>.

Legion points go buggy that is why it needed a reset.

I think player's kills and AP is much different.
It take some time to get 14k kills, but that player who has it already played that much.


Next thread will be about to reset the whole server (armors, weapons, money, etc) to make competition, because new players hardly can compete against +15 ABG... lmao

Well, i got 2k kills. And I dont bother resetting the kills unless im scared or something. Or that I have no confidence that I can gain them back. Im a competitive guy so when theres better challenges. I accept it. In the past you can actually boost your kills by having 2 clients w/ 1 asmo and 1 elyos. You kill and kill it. A fresh start would be nice. Atleast this times those kills will be for real and some of it not from cheating yourself.

And yeah, I have not been playing this char for more than a month. Did you see the legion reset? It's like going back to previous rankings. It's because the top legions manage to do what they do best. To be on top.

 

If you want a fresh start, find a new server. The only reason anyone would reset player kills is because there too damn lazy to go and pvp as much as that person has. You say your all about competition, than prove it, and pass it. Hanja, who is at te top of the list , got there because he went and pvp'd. Not becasue he complained on the forum that it was too hard to pvp. The #1 person is always going to be hard to beat, it's a fact of life in private servers. You can't ask for a complete server wipe of all kills because your too lazy to go and pvp as much as that person. It will eventually get passed, just like all #1's do. Seriously this is a useless topic.

 

And that way ranking would be more meaningful. Unlike oh he got 10k kills, hmm.. How much time did he do that? Did he get it from being too old on gamez or from being really good. Unlike w/ reset. Wow that guys got 4k kill in less than a month. He must be pro. lol

How come it's useless when the admins/gms are already considering doing it? Youre the one whos afraid not us. Afraid that a reset would take away your rank? If your good, when kills got reset you will reach it again or even go higher. Unless youre pathetic and you did your ranking because youre too old like a grampy here on gamez.

 

The legion ap reset was honestly a pretty wise choice, but reseting kills? its not hard to get hundreds per day, you can make the rankings easy, and most of the players on the rankings hit big inacvitiy curves which you can take advantage of.

a better choice would be to have rankings for each class. So that the best of the best of this server truly shine. And it wouldn't be a ranger shitstorm

So youre telling me that alente resetted legion rankings because they cant pass the tops because it's too high? Though that ap cap thing is so easy to fix. Why reset then if it's easily fixable?

 

Also there should be a separate, "best player of the month rankings" aside from the "of all time" instead of wiping a player's kills AP is one thing. But a kill is a kill how can you take that away?

 

Legion ranking were reset cause it was buggy, and I believe legions were getting -ap points. There's no legit reason to erase player kills.

 

To be curious does anyone consider my ideas useful? It would be nice to have a monthly ranking aside from the "of all time" rankings for individual kills, no? And at the same time every class can be seen instead of it being 75% ranger or something like that :-o

 

It's not even legit too. -ap on legion and the cap thing can be easily fixed. Alente even said that after i posted a thread about fixing it. Theres some other reason behind that reset not because it was buggy or whatever. And yeah this is just a suggestion.

True, since rangers will just definitely be the top 10 if there will be reset.

 

monthly kills reset is awesome. and giving out prices its alot easier than the legion rank awards.
maybe a Website banner as price like

I would also like to see something similar to this but apparently it puts too much stress on the server or some shit so guess it may nvr happen :O

 

not really xD, the rankings take daily snapshots at random times of the day, usually after a reboot. Stress would happen if its refreshed by the minute or something.
