A strange problem...

Well....I started playing aion a week ago... and I have not encountered any problems until two days ago. Infact, I decided to replace my system.ovr, two days ago, so as to be able to fly anywhere. I paid much attention in carrying out the operation because I have carefully closed aion and made changes to system.ovr and not to system.cfg. But it didn't work.

I tried to repair the client and repeat the operation, and once again didn't work. so I started reading a lot of discussions about this issue and then I tried several solution but it didn't work either. I sent a ticket to GM and got no response.

So I decided to download and install the game again and to my surprise the file system.ovr finally does its job. That is, the button to fly finally tells me "you can fly in this area." But the problem persists, because although the button is actived, if I press nothing happens, at least for the free fly areas.

I tried to use the gliding and then again to activate the flight and doesn' t work. So what is the problem? I have a Windows 7 and I have no antivirus that might conflict with aion. Please help me understand what's the problem. can I have a buggy pg?

p.s. My client is updated to version 2.00.5 and I haven't made any changes in it except for the items. Pak.

 

Free fly is bugged since 2 days now. U just need to wait till they fix them that why u cant fly everywhere.

Dont worry its not u, its server bug.

 

Thank you for your reply .... unfortunately I have not read that it was a bug anywhere .... and I was more curious because my friend was still able to fly, even if I don't know if he still succeeds today. And then I also saw some people who still could fly. I am happy that this is a bug.

 

Yeahh. Idk if this is a bug, but when you fly over water, you learn how to free-fall =] and then die. I hope to god this is not a permanent thing. In Heiron you have to go completely around and up to the Observatory then run to DP. Oh but wait. You don't make it because there's Asmo there. and Then you die again. Because you can't get away and fly. =|

 

me too.....because there is a strange thing in my case,I can't fly anywhere ...oh yeah I can fly in normal areas like vertoren or elthen , around cities , but in other areas no, even though the button is available. Well.....I hope it's like Ehpsilon says..
