Stuck lvl 1 at starting area can't move

I recently just started playing Aion again and I made a new char. on Elyos. Once I log in to the char. I can't move or do anything, but I can talk. Does anyone have any suggestions? I heard It might be an update bug or something. Please help

I am assuming that you are playing on Crystal since you posted here also.

 

Ingame I am Zucchinii. I am not online right now. I don't know what Crystal whatever means I am new to this game and know pretty much nothing.

Are you stuck in the ground? Also is everything language wise in chinese/japanese? If so you'll need to make sure your updated to 2.0.0.5 after that run a client repair and it should fix it.

Yes everything is in Japenes and I can't move. I don't know how to install "client" versions or whatever I know nothing about the game. I'll need a more in depth direction

 

Here's the guide on how to update.

1. First step is to run your NCSoft Launcher as the Administrator if your have Windows XP or Vista. This is done by right clicking and selecting 'Run As Administrator'.



2. Once the AION client boots up your going to want to go up to the top and select File-> Settings. This will open up another box. Once this is open you'll want to hit the 'Auto Update' tag and turn off auto updates. The Second thing is to hit the 'Advanced' tab and make sure your region is North America.





3. After all that is done your going to want to update yout AION to patch 2.0.0.5. Make sure to watch it as you don't want to go over this patch. With Auto Update off this shouldn't be an issue.

4. If your still experiencing issues after patching running a client repair should fix everything up and make your game run perfectly. Do this by clicking the dropdown bar of your AION game in the NCSoft launcher and select 'Repair'.



After that everything should be 'A-okay.'

since you're new to aion, maybe you didn't know that click-to-move is disabled when you create a new character, hence you have to press W-A-S-D to move.

Ok so I think I downloaded the correct versions, but I still can't move and everything is still in japanese or something,........ :[

It says it's downloading a huge patch of 2.0.0.0 to 2.1.0.1.... I don't think I want that. ??
