1024 Aion Launcher problem, Redownloading 2.0.0.2

Need help, right now I'm redownloading 2.0.0.2 because you can't patch up to 2.0.0.5 anymore.... My aion was playing fine til yesterday and I didn't change anything. Now it didn't work so now I'm redownloading it and hopefully it will work. If it doesn't some tips would be appreciated. I'm looking at other threads already but most of the stuff wasn't working. Also, you can't repair it now because it goes straight to 2.1.

Update your client to 2.0.0.5 because it works fine... but dont update it to 2.1 yet because this server still not supporting it yet...

 

No man, it said the server was up. I got the 1024 Aion Launcher error which means my game crashed even before loading up the log in screen, while my friends were ON the server.

 

Asanka is working on a fix for this kind of issue.

He will most probably create a thread once he has confirmed it works.

 

That's the plan, hopefully it works without any bugs.

 

It doesnt update to 2.0.0.5 anymore apparently, it goes straight from 2.0.0.3 - 2.1.

But with this said, To fix the 1024 error try re-installing the Gamez Launcher rather than the entire game.

 

Thanks for the fast reply, I was looking at your post in other threads as well.

Some person named SSJR was saying this might work by unzipping the 2.0.0.5 patch and replacing all old files but that problem was for the client going over 2.0.0.5 to 2.0.0.9 update and not the 1024 error.

This is what he wrote.

look in your aion folder it should have some files that have in their name
Aion_Main_0.0.0.0To1.9.0.0.ncpatch
Aion_Main_1.9.0.0To1.9.0.3.ncpatch
Aion_Main_2.0.0.4To2.0.0.5.ncpatch <---you need this
Aion_Main_2.0.0.5To2.0.1.0.ncpatch
Aion_Main_2.0.0.4_Repair.ncpatc

inside your aion folder you should have 3-4 rar files patchto2.0.9 or somethink like this,they have the older files,find the 2.0.5 rar patch,extract and replace the files(sorry psile alla edw gamiountai k 8a mou tin poun an milaga ellinika)

I did and it didn't work which is why I'm reinstalling everything now. Also, I tried renaming and moving the dd3xssl or w/e file and doing all these other things people were talking about doing, deleting the 2.0.09 patches, putting them back in etc and nothing worked while I was troubleshooting. Also would it work as you suggested to cancel update after updating to 2.0.0.5 because that's the plan right now I'll be testing it in an hour and 9 minutes.

 

We Really Need Someone to Upload his Up-To-Date Game Folders....
Downloading the whole client and reinstalling it is not the perfect solution.. expecially for people with a bad computer and a bad connection.. it's a pain in the ass..
Some Staff Member should Upload his game folders one by one , compressed .zip/.rar files , so people will be able to solve any client problem easily.

I know it will take long to upload them , but it will help alot of people..
I can't upload mine cause i've got a strange client , i keep crashing and i cannot see some items/cannot trade many items that are tradeable , i can put them in trade but no1 can see them x) and some other issues... im also using a wi-fi now and i get disconnected from it every 15-20 minutes , that would ruin the upload..

Na, Nothing worked as of yet, I'm redownloading 2.0.0.2 version and hoping that it'll work on 2.0.0.2 by itself with latest gamez aion launcher, if it doesn't I'll try to update it to 2.0.0.5 and try to get some feed back from scythe as to the course of action I should take to fix it.

 

yeah man I understand what you saying but... The thing is you can't upload to 2.0.0.5 only... I tried several times and it makes the update to 2.1.0.1 ...

Well most of my client has been uploaded to Megaupload, but i use the Windows 7 OS and im not sure if it will mess things up.

You could always try deleting your Bin32 folder from your 2.1 client and try replacing it with a 2.0.0.5 one?

Are you using the EU or US client?

I was using NA US and I'm also on Windows 7 OS. I already tried replacing the Bin32 file it didn't do anything, as well as the other things you've said on other forums. The 1024 aion launcher error persisted. I've tried mostly all of em and they didn't work which is why I'm redownloading it to 2.0.0.2 hoping it works.

 

I have 2.0.0.2 full installer man... I installed it a very few times but IDK .. it keeps getting me out of my mind... Idk...

edit:

(searched over the internet and thats what I found) :

Don't do it. All it did was turn my client into korean and then did absolutly nothing afterwards. So basically all that does is waste your time and then make your client unreadable. Cool right?

 

ok first post so please be gentle. ive been trying to get my game working for about 9 hours and doing what seems like everything you have been saying BUT. I am running to a problem. I have Version 1.9 something (well did) and i tried the whole "let it update itself and stop at the point were it says ""patching blah to 2.1""" and it never worked. so now i have version 2.1 hoping that after i deleted the repair file thing and anything i can find with 2.1 in the name it would just revert IDK. PLEASE help. So i need to do anything with my Bin or what not? My screen just goes black when i launch it and locks up for a few seconds. Ugg i wanna get back to playing. is there just a good version posted i can just down load and quick fix. Sorry about the length. just lost as hell now
