2.0 Items.pak Guide

Just "installed" the two files (Windows 7 EU Client and system.ovr) on windows 7 but still cant fly anywhere and still cant trade items that cant be traded..
Any ideas?

some items arent mant to be traded, would help if u mentioned which items ur trying to trade. abg and a few others cant be passed through account warehouse right now, its a known bug

freefly is also bugged atm, very few maps support it, most just shut off ur wings when u enter a nofly zone

 

after i put it i cant play anymore the path erro

 

this happens when u put the file in the wrong place like using a EU version when u have US client. u might have to repair, then downgrade from 2.1 to 2.0.0.5 and try another one

 

how can i go back to the previous versions, i mean downgrade?

i want to ask something,its available to fly @ DP now? or gm make it no fly map like beluslan and others?i tried to do DP and change the system.ovr but still not working,then if we can't fly @ DP how do we enter tahabata since balaur abbys gate got bugged too?

theyve been changing DP like...every few days. always switching between fly and nofly so i dunno atm. brusthonin is a fly enabled map, the others have flying off i think. the latest update screwed up a lot of things. either way if u can fly in brusthonin ur system.ovr is fine

dont think u can currently get to tahabata till they fix the gate, seems like its a common bug to a lot of these since the altgart and mohreim abyss gates dont work either

abg was never meant to be tradable, trade was turned off server side, only should be able to pass it through account warehouse (screenshot everything in case of losses >.>)

does anuhart still say untradable on it? if it does u havent done it right

if u have windows XP SP3 there is no hope for u for now, most XP SP3 people cant get any version to work

check ur aion version to make sure ur using the right 1 (US or EU), if u dont have XP SP3, can always try the other installer to see if it helps

btw enh stones should have been tradable even without items.pak so idk bout that 1

i have win 7 too, the only time ive had win 7 people complain is when they took the wrong version (like they had US client and took the EU version instead)

theres also a chance u installed it wrong so the file got extracted to the wrong place.

if ur doing it right, it will ask to overwrite the old one

if it didnt ask u, u extracted it to the wrong place. during the installation just choose ur gamez aion folder

i.e. C:\Program files\NCSoft\Aion\ and extract there

just find the location of the main folder where ur running gamez aion from

 

Just curious.. I can trade, vender and broker gold anuhart armor BUT I cannot extract enchantment stones from it.. Should I reinstall the item pack?

 

I can't store GOlden medals to my Acc WH..

 

this is not an item pack issue, item pack only decides whether things are tradable or not. as far as i know anuhart armor never was extractable, only weapons ^^ if u want enh stones, extract elder from core, they give stones lvl 50-70 (70 is the highest u can get ingame). elder stuff is easier to get

neither can i, its a bug not an item pack issue. id report it in the bug section unless some1 else has already ^^ just keep them on u, not a big deal

 

so what about dyes?

 

people used to trade dyes ingame in the past, i havent tried so idk if they r tradable but i think they should be. i do remember there was a dye bug mentioned in the bug list, might wanna search the forums for that
