New to server

Hi Guys, Ive been playing on the server for about a week, just hit lvl 55. With a little bit of patience i was able to buy anu gear for cheap off the broker, so i have a starting set of gear.

My main issue and the reason why I am posting is my cluelessness of what to do now.

For the past two days i have been sitting around in Gelkmaros reading .asmo chat, and i dont see anyone forming groups/raids or pvp battles. I was able to get one person to respond to a message after i asked them what i was suppost to do at 55, and he replied pvp.

So i tried to find some elyos and they ended finding me and then destroying me lol.

Is there a certain "hang out" where people go to form groups and thats why no one talks in .asmo about it?

I am desperately seeking help, because I do not want to become bored and quit what might be a great server

 

go to Abyss.... u can find some PvP thing there... a lot of them

You might want to look into crafting. It's cake to do, if you have the patience for it. And if you put a week into it you can make billions of kinah.

Go look for a legion, making friends is probably the best thing to do in any MMO game.
Use the search button to find the legion list thread somebody made. Or scroll down on the index page, and click on legion discussion.

I'm not an asmo, so I wouldn't be able to tell you where they all the pugs grp up, but if I had to guess I would say Gelakramos.

Well uhm,find a legion that's active might work

And we asmos always go for fortresses,so keep an eye on .asmo chat when some forts are vulnerable

 

Yeah first of all u need a legion, no legion = no pvp. Then i also suggest u start voting if u havent done already so.. so u could get yourself some decent abg weapon from the gamezaion shop. Then try to +15 your anuhart, the least u can do. Considering most ppl in ther server have donate/traded/voted for gear a long time now you will find yourself dead in a matter of seconds when you go pvp. So if u have spare cash it would be best to invest on some abg armor and get yourself some enjoyment outta pvp. Otherwise with full anuhart you wont get anywhere i can tell you that. Glads with full abg will most likely kill you with cleave chain. Anyways welcome to the community and have FUN!!

Welcome to gamez, and to get into the real pvp you need a legion. People don't really advertise raids with random people in world chat

Hey guys... Can i ask you all a question about a problem im having?

 

What you need sir is a good legion really. In retail you saw massive raids being formed in LFG but here... not so much. Our legion, Reloaded, goes raiding a lot. There's other legions such as Renegadex or WeloveKpop too. ^.^ Just ask in the .asmo chat for a nice pvp legion that speaks english (if that's your preference) and you'll surely get an invite =]

Thanks for the reply's everyone, I really appreciate the time you took to help me. Last night i began doing alchemy to pass the time. I would really like to become involved in PVP and to learn from veteran players. I am a long time MMO player so i dont consider myself noob status, but being new to the server i can live as such status until im on par with other players. If anyone would be interested in accepting me to your legion, send me a PM in game. I was randomly invited to a legion last night, but once i accepted i saw that it only had 13 members, only 1 being online. I would rather lean towards a larger legion. I am an american based player.

PVP is pretty much THE thing to do now.

Of course, Aion is a game of Zerg Vs Zerg.

Find a nice legion, and pvp with them in the Abyss Core.

Then you buy pretty Abyss gears. :3
