Ranger skills assistance

Anychance someone could give me a little guide on setting out my skills?

Or rather a guide to ranger skills/buffs and whats effective pvpve-wise etc.

Bestial Fury,Strong Shots,Hunter's Eyes,Focused Shots - buffs
Sleep \ Silence \ Shock Arrow(Immobilize) \ Stunning Shot chain are helpful.
Also Focused Evasion,Devotion are momentary but helpful.

Heart Shot,Explosive Arrow,Lightning Shot,Agonizing Arrow,Deadly Arrow,Unerring Arrow,Gale Arrow are your offensive skills.
Test in duels the best combo for you ( I usually stun lock with Stunning shot at the beginning... ) and don't forget to Silence before so they can't use Remove Shock

 

Been long time since i didn't play the ranger.

 

Cool, i'm guessing there isnt a set combo 1>2>3>4> etc for offensive attacks, since most pvp encounters i've been in with my templar seem to last all of 5-8 seconds lol.....

And is it best to blast off the status effect skills before launching into the heavy hitting offensive skills?

Just trying to get a feel for what is best and what's pointless to use.

Offensive barrage in mass pvp and status skills -> offensive in 1v1 ?

Well I usually open with Silence \ Shock Arrow and Stunning Shot Chain.
Then I burst...sometimes I stun lock with Heart Shot + Explosive Arrow with are fast skills + Lightning Shot which stuns for 1 second,then blast Agonizing\Deadly for real high damage.
Group PvP - well depends on the enemies,but status effect skills would help the other group members.

 

cool that'll give me a decent place to start. Any advice on what buffs i should be constantly running with? etc and advice on the others?

Bestial Fury,Hunter's Eye, and Strong Shots ( Focused Shots is stronger but reduces your defense,risky. )
Devotion is nice when you can pull it off before bursting,and Focused Evasion can help in alot of situations.

 

um just checked my ingame skills, i dont see Deadly or Lightening shot o.0 I assume Lightening is the 55 sigma, but wheres deadly?

Must be a non listed chain/adv sigma. I'm only 52 atm.

 

yah i also start with the 50% slow shot as my first shot because it takes them less time to get to you then i got with stunning shot chain then gale then lightning then deadly then agonizing and normally there pretty low on life after that and they shouldnt even be close to you if u play asmo siel i can show u some stuff also help u get some ap to get your EAT set

Deadly arrow (asmos) = Holy Arrow (elyos)
Shock arrow (elyos)= Shacke arrow ( asmos)
