Gladiator or Chanter?

So I've been having some thoughts and I wanted your opinion.

I've been playing Aion for about five months plus one month in the official server and my main chars were an assassin in the official, and a gladi and chanter in Gamez. I started out with a gladi here but since I didn't know much either about the class or aion in general, I gave up on the gladi and started a chanter.

I love chanters and I think I know how to receive the best results possible with them by mixing their attack skills and buffs and when and where to use them, but I really missed my gladi.

I really love solo pvp these days so I thought of changing to my old gladi or creating a new one and bla bla.
The thing is, I'm really used to the healing abilities and the buffs chanters have to offer.
So, change to a gladi since they're best for solo pvp, or stick with the chanter, whose healing abilities I adore?

What do you think?

 

I guess you'd get bored of chanter sooner than of gladi ~ But it's your call :whistling:

Nah I didn't get bored of my chanter, it's just that I miss my gladi

 

I only recently created a legit Chanter on Crystal and I like it so far. I normally main a Glad and while I do agree they are good at solo pvp, Chanters can be also if you play them well enough. I still don't know enough about Chanters yet though.

 

Oh come on. I started out with a gladi. I won't be an additional gladi to the server:innocent:

Yeah, it's just that Chanters really need to be well prepared before the hit the enemy, and sometimes if someone hits you and you can't stunt them, ughh. Fail. But I still love them.

 

Oh yeah , thx for the reminder Selik. Are you gonna play Gamez or Crystal? Because with Stigma system workin' , chanters can be built pretty badass ... and gladiators are not that ramboes like they are in Gamez atm..

Gladis are overrated,they do pretty well in PvP but can easily be countered by blind

Chanters can be countered by blind too ay? But they got Binding Word that binds all enemies up to..20m away? if im not wrong? Thats pretty much enough time for the blind to wear off

Chants also got heals and mantras <3 So i'd say chanter

 

Yep both Clerics and Chanters rely on stuns and with Glads using UD, both can get screwed over quickly in a 1v1 if they don't neutralize the Glad quickly.

 

I tried a cleric once.. I failed>.<
That's what I'm talking about, I love all the buffs and healing abilities chanters have to offer, but on the other hand I like solo pvp these days so a gladi could be good.

 

Maybe you should try playing sorc ^^ :tongue:

 

I liked sorcerers at first but I don't like the fact that lots of their skills take too much time to be activated. There is not a single attack skill in chanters that is not instant and I'm kind of used to that

 

I'm on Crystal of course. No point in making one on Gamez as I rarely if ever log on there.

 

I asked that from Dimitra , I know that you're a crystal player and the reason why i asked him is because choosing a class depends a lot on working or non working stigma system. (I failed at adressing my question , sorry)

I love my glads. Glads are a good class and it's fairly easy to learn compared to the others. But it depends on what you want to do. Do you want to focus on just killing stuff or mixing in fighting with buffing and healing?

 

Not sure if I've been talking to you before .. and uhmm on Gamez .. Gladi > chanter in every ways unfortunately ... I wish there'd be stigma system implemented to bring a little balance...

Clerics don't rely on stuns. A cleric who know their class LOLROFLSTOMPS a glad...

 

Well it's not that I would DIE if I didn't get to have my buffs and my healing skills, but I got pretty much used to them. I started out as a gladi and I really loved it.
