Getting rid of fly abusers ~

• Well as the title says , Fly abusers became the most burning problem in the past few days and I think I got a fine idea how to get rid of them. The current "banning them for 1-2days then if they keep abusing they'll get perma banned" method works fine but we could prevent them flying in a more peaceful way as well.
  [*]It's well-known that areas such as Azure Gully (in gelkma) are free-fly zones in order to allow ppl gathering Magical Aether ~ That's how the buggers can get unfair advantage against other players. My idea is to make those areas non-flying zones [again] & set 2 NPCs (one in sanctum and one in pandae) which would sell Magical Aethers. (About the fact that if it has limited wares or not , I'll let the AMs decide about it). So how does it sound? Feel free to correct me if the idea is horribad ​

 

Fixes it,but perhaps try making the amount of magical aether limited per day per account?

 

Gave a free hand to AMs about that.

Yeah and if u screw flyers, Sorcerers have no chance against physical types. The good thing was about fly pvp that I could go up high and attack someone from above. Even with my low gear (i got killed most of the times), at least i had a fighting chance, something of a class-specific advantage. Why is nobody giving a crap about mages these days( Plus "Gathering aether" is not the same as 'Buying aether". We aether tappers collect money from tapping the damned aether. How the hell should we buy it? You killed Aethertapping as a profession. It was easy, quick free, and only needed patience. And everybody needed Aether...Now it's all screwed I joined this server because of the long free-fly and the easy XP and easy kinah. Now all crapped up. I think im gonna leave soon. Not everyone has money to donate...

 

First of all I'm talking about ground-abyss PvP such as Inggison , Gelkmaros.
Second thing is that I want NPCs who are selling magical aether not every kind of materials... so you can still keep aethertapping to make scrolls and stuff.

 

Im playing just fine without donations =]

And about the flying thing,this thread was aimed at those fly abusers in no-fly areas

About the aether,magical aether can't be used for all types of scroll =]

Good idea, but it'd be even nicer if Alente could just fix the bug of flying from flight zones into non flight zones. If it's impossible to code then the only reasonable option would be what you're saying to completely get rid of all flight zones

Hope Alente can fix this bug all together, if not..
