Launcher Won't Completely Install..?????

Ok, so here's a new one... Game works fine on the desktop, so naturally I wanna install on the new lappytop. DL from NCSoft... Check. Updates and such from NCSoft... Check. DL GamezAion Launcher... Check. Install GA Launcher... Uh-oh.

The launcher starts to install, the progress bar gets about 1/4 across - i think the filename showing is md5db.ini - and the installer flashes off and says it's installed. Then windows pops up and says it may NOT have installed correctly. If I launch the game, I get a gorgeous sign-in screen but when I click to log on it just sits there showing me this pretty picture. No attempt to contact the login server, or so it seems.

Tried to re-DL and reinstall, but it does the exact same thing every time. Tried the NCSoft repair. Nothing.

Yes, full admin priveleges and all that good stuff. Running Win7 Home Premium 64-bit

 

Wow, Hmmm.. So i can better get a visual, can you possibly post a picture of this?

 

I've tried to catch a screenshot of the install, but it goes by too fast. I'll keep trying. As for the login, I get the sign in and the agreement, then it just shows the background scenery and plays the music....

I've tried the compatibility troubleshooter, ran it in all modes, verified admin rights again... Nada.

 

What version is the game? Cause if you are at 2.1 then well you need to downgrade to 2.0.0.5
