[Guide]Improve perfomance for laptop and older pc

I search around to gather ideas for a little better perfomance for those who have high ping,old machine or they play from laptops with turbocache graphic card that they dont use battleping(if you use it will be better)



BEFORE ANYTHINK BE SURE THAT YOU HAVE CREATE A SYSTEM RESTORE POINT AND COPY YOUR AION FOLDER TO A DIFFERENT LOCATION TO KEEP A BACKUP OF YOUR CLIENT

-select defrag first and then deep optimize to "gather" fragment files

Five For windows 7-Vista users there is a way to reduce network latency BUT will slow your download speed

1. From a command prompt (usually in All Programs -> Accessories -> Command Prompt) run “regedit”
2. Browse to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\services\Tcpip\Parameters\Interfaces
3. Browse the items under interfaces until you find one that has an IPAddress entry matching the network interface you want to affect (typically LAN IP addresses start with 192.168 or 10.0); note that if your IP address is automatically assigned by a DHCP server you may need to look for a matching DhcpIPAddress instead of IPAddress
4. Right-click on the interface and select New > DWORD (32-bit) Value, name it “TcpAckFrequency”
5. Right-click the new TcpAckFrequency value and select Modify, enter “1″ (Hexadecimal radio button should be selected)
6. Right-click on the interface and select New > DWORD (32-bit) Value, name it “TCPNoDelay” (note that TCP is all uppercase this time – that’s intentional)
7. Right-click the new TCPNoDelay value and select Modify, enter “1″ (Hexadecimal radio button should be selected)
8. Verify that both TcpAckFrequency and TCPNoDelay now show up in the adapter’s property list with types REG_DWORD and values 0×00000001
9. Exit regedit and reboot (reboot is necessary for the changes to take effect!)
10. Play a game and enjoy your new low ping

Seven when you have complete the steps and the neccesary restarts run the aion

after you login press O

I enter in graphic tab and turn at minimun all details(i know that the game will s@x after that but choose between perfomance and detail)

II after that enable FIX FPS(it will automatily help out with the lower detail your pc to run the game faster without graphic card high usage)

III and the option under the weather effect(i dont remember the name,OSD or somethink)

IV ingame now press pause break button to turn on the ingame concole (if you dont see anythink go to Options-keymapping and search for Console to add the button)


V enter this command \g_minfov 125 (this is the minimum field of view

value 125 is optional,the 100 is the default,it go until 180 but between 120-130 it will get you dizzy,so try betweet 110-130

if you wanna go to default PRESS O and APPLY (dont need anythink else)

VI press Shift+F12 to disable the graphic of the other users,it will free your machine from reading graphic details(if you ask how you select targets after that i reccoment do it by pressing the TAB{use it in a duel})

to return character graphics on press again Shift+F12



also at Graphic options tab(Press O,options,graphic) you see under the FIX FPS command two more options,the one is to hide other players as I tell above and below is one option to disable the graphics of the skills,you can place it to self(to see your skill)hide or disable(turn all off)or all
