question about crt m.boost ect cap

those days in my legion we got a talk about soft-hard caps in stats and each one gives he's explanation about em and the most times we just start to fight betweet as

the questions are simple dont worry

i have read that crt soft cap is 440 and hard 550

this means that above 550 crt doesnt count? or that the chance to have crt strike are the same with 550?

before a few weeks i have read somewhere that when you reach a stat over the hard cap you have the same crt chance rate to have a crt hit but you got higher crt dmg

i hope to understand what i mean,if not i try to explain it a little better

eg with crt 440 you have crt hit 1 at 6 hits and dmg 1000
with crt 550 you have crt hit 1 at 3 hits and dmg 1000
with crt 560 you have crt hit 1 at 3 hits and dmg 1010
with crt 650 you have crt hit 1 at 3 hits and dmg 1100

and the second is that if you reach m.boost hard cap(3100) the more you add you have it as result in the m.crt dmg?

 

i dont think magic crit works here, but no, if you use magic boost above the cap, it wont add nothing for your m.crit.

hmm, about crit, i have my toughs, if it there is really a hard cap here.
well my main is glad, and i use A LOT of crit, like 750+
and i dont regreet it, cos most hits are crit hits

for me crit strike, just increase your chances to perform a crit atack. and a critical attack its 2x the dmg of a normal one.
i don't know how it goes on gamez.

 

well that conversation starts between me and a friend

i got a chanter,with buff food scroll etc i reach a crt about 800+,i notice a slightly improve at crt rate chance,
almost the same with 550+-

my friend got a ranger and he tell that with higher crt(over the hrad cap) he got better chances about crt hit

 

sometimes, crit depend on your luck. or even on the enemy parry/block percent.
but for my opinion, yes you should use crit above "hard" cap

 

well i got a little different setup on chanter with a compination of manastones and crt cap at 550-580 with all food scroll mantras

 

that should work too.
