Need Clarification from GM about Spirit Substitution..

All of us know that this skill is bugged. But actually, this skill is really useful for SM since when SM get attacked by another player , the spirit would absorb the damage. The matter is after the pet dies, that skill is still exist aka the SM would become immortal for about 2 minutes, until another SM debuff it.


GM Asphel has told me that using that skill is allowed while SMs pet is still alive.

I am Spiritmaster, I am using that skill, but i always remove that buff as soon as my pet dies. Well maybe u don't believe in me about this, unless u're in the same group with me, looking that i removed that buff when my pet dies. (Some people said that I am liar about this, but i don't care since i don't ask them to believe)

GM empirio also already saw when i got killed by 2 elyos since 1 elyos attacked my pet till die, then i removed that buff, that's why i died, since i intentionally removed that buff.

I just wanna ask one question, is it still forbidden to use that skill if SMs pet is still alive, even we remove that buff as soon as the pet dies?

I know that, some SMs would not doing this (remove the buff when their pet dies).

If GM say , it's still forbidden, then i will remove that skill from my skill bars, or at least GM can disable it until GM can fix it.

But if GM say, it's still allowed as soon as the pet still alive and, The SM have to remove that buff when the pet dies.

 

The skill is bloody bugged >_> don't use it period.

suggest not to use it... or the game can simply disable it server side.

 

Remove the skill BEFORE your pet dies. Like when he's 5%. Otherwise they could SS you and what will you do to prove that your pet was actually there? =/

 

I have an SM but they jailed it because someone had a screenshot me using the spirit substitution. The angle of the screenshot was taken away from my earth spirit. Its ok if the allegation was true. However, my SM was jailed because of a screenshot taken intentionally without the spirit n the picture. I know this because i always check the HP of my spirit. I never abuse that skill. If my spirit dies, then so be it, i always cancel my skill and let my SM die. I tried to plead the GM but they didnt listen. Please fix the bug so i can freely use my spirit substitution. Its really helpful having weak defense.

 

this is true but.. iv fought alot of spirit masters who dont even have their pet out and use it then summon their pet really quickly so that if you screen shot them they can say they had their pet out, if you fight someone or in alot of the cases 1 vs 50 and your a sm and they kill your pet.... and then you remove it right away they cant report you anyways because you will be dead lol but if you keep running away when your pets gone and have the skill still up (as i have seen so many spirit masters do) then thats your own fault and you should get jailed or banned w/e but i do agree with deadly you should probably do that if you are staying true to your word and taking it off that way they cant screeny you.

it's better to disable that skill from server side untill it's fixed. that bug is really annoying. inched:

Actually, I'd prefer if GM disable it from server side, I don't mind anyhow..

 

It takes 5 seconds to get a new spirit up. If they can't screenshot you between that interval... then I'm not sure what to say. ;p

Either take the skill off before your pet dies, or don't use it at all. Or you'll be spending the day in jail. D;

First of could ppl stop proclaiming that GMs disable/fix it? GMs don't do anything like that they only uphold the "law" n rules ingame. <.< It's Devs that fixes things like that.

But yeah too many noob SMs use Spirit sub without spirit, hell had a solo SM with spirit Sub n without spirit atk Gelk... Decided to help him out by removing the buff since he obviously forgot it. XD

Until yesterday the "rules" stated that using SS is considered bug abuse, it was edited today to only allow the skill when there's a pet. But even then..you could always just re-summon the pet and pretend it was still there.

It's the most awesome skill SM's have, but I wouldn't mind it if GM's just disabled it until it's "fixed".
